The outside grounds and parking lot is as clean as at any Motel 6 I have been to.  This is a 1970s era Motel 6 building with really small rooms.  Rooms are updated  and clean.  We stayed during Covid and we had  as double bed but were expecting a queen.  We could have had a queen if we moved upstairs.  Not sure why but most rooms were empty during our stay with a sign at check in saying they were sold out.  Parking lot was almost empty

Better than expected

This Motel 6 is the best Motel 6 I have ever stayed at and I've been at Motel 6's in AZ and Colorado. All the staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean. Nice pool, laundry room. Free WiFi, free local calls,free cable, and Free coffee in the mornings. The manager goes out if his way to keep guests happy. This is the second time I have stayed at this location while visiting Farmington. Shopping Centers, and restaurants very close by. I highly recommend this place to everyone coming through. You won't be dissapointed. Very reasonable prices! We'll be back!

I'd stayed at this Motel 6 before, so I got no surprises. A cheap, clean, relatively quiet room and a good night's sleep. Everything worked, but they could've tossed in some shampoo. Wish they'd bring back breakfast, too.

Typical cheap room

We paid slightly more to have an upstairs room with Fridge and Microwave. Overall excellent value it is one of the cheapest places we have stayed. No problems 2.5 miles to Wal-Mart for shopping we are travelling via motorcycle. Parking was fine around the back.

Good clean and reasonably quiet very cheap

Booked a 1 bed Queen and got a double in a ADA room. Front desk said all rooms with Queen beds on street level were taken even though there weren't very many cars in the lot.  Room was clean and TV worked great. Just don't understand a handicap room with a double bed????

Not what we booked

Exterior and pool very clean. Room updated, nice new bedding but floor black and sticky. No towels or soap upon check in. In 4 days never had hot or even warm water. No information that coffee was available in office early morning.

4 night stay

The room we had was clean, but we had extremely noisy neighbours with dogs, who were barking a lot. Our room was right by the pool, which was also very noisy with kids jumping in etc until late. At one point there must have been around 20 people in the pool.

Ok but noisy 

I stayed here two years ago and it was a great deal. This week--not so much. 

Wifi was down and apparently it has been for a long time. One washer and one dryer were out of service. 

The staff just clearly doesn't care. They seem bemused that anyone should even expect silly little things like emptying the trash on multi-night stays.

I've always supported Motel 6, but the brand seems to be circling the bowl within the past year. Don't leave the light on for me any more.

Gone downhill

Stopped here for the night on our way back to Texas. This is one of the worst Motel 6 ever. Cold, no hot water, dirty linens and towels. And mask up!!! 
Don’t even pay $1 to spend the night here. They should pay clients for their courage instead.

Awful

We came to Farmington from Oklahoma to bury my brother-in-law’s remains, driving nearly 900 miles. I booked this room for a week.

The first thing I found was a nasty, filthy microwave that I had to wash out before we could even use it. The back of the bathroom door had long hair stuck to it, and the floors were dirty. The water took 10 minutes to heat up - yes, I timed it. Our room was never cleaned, the trash was never taken out, our beds were never made or sheets changed, and we were never brought clean towels, and towels we did have in the room were dingy and dirty-looking.

We suspect that the occupants of the next room were running a prostitution/drug ring as there were scantily clad girls standing outside the door and every 30 to 45 minutes a different male would show up as one was leaving. In the lobby was posted a large sign that said no visitors were allowed in the rooms other than the paid occupants. The room we stayed in was on the side of the building away from the office.

High-lifted 4-wheel-drive pickups and low-rider cars drove through the parking lot at all hours of the night, music blaring.

Each day, we drove to Aztec to where my brother-in-law’s property was to do some cleaning and every evening I had to go to the office to have the key-card reprogrammed so I could open the door.

The heater made tons of racket and would not even heat up. It blew cold air only no matter how much I tried to adjust it.

Extremely poor quality. We will never stay at a Motel 6 again.
