Our stay was disappointing! We had no power to our main room, no TV, microwave, frig, lights. When we told the front desk there was no apology or compensation. Just oh well! Then she gave us the wrong bill at checkout. In two of our friends rooms their sinks we stopped up.

Disappointed!

Booked a night stay. Was not told that an event would be going on all night. Played loud music, handed strangers a microphone and let them yell whatever they wanted. Was told to bad by the front desk.

The most outrageous hotel stay of my life….. avoid this place like the plague.

We attended a wedding at the fairground and stayed at the inn for the weekend. It was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast on the weekend was better than the week day. It was busy on the weekend and my parents didn’t get their room cleaned, but we did. No real complaints. Felt safe and slept well

Family Trip

We found this place to be very clean and comfortable. We were just there for an overnight stay. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were awesome! If you are expecting something ultra modern and sleek this isn’t the place. But if you want clean and cozy then stay here. 
It was also within walking distance to some awesome bars and restaurants.
We will definitely stay here again the next time we make a visit.

Nice getaway!

Hotel seems little dated.  Very clean and good staff.  Rooms are in need of a couple of upgrades.  Surprised to find a 19' TV, standard these days is 30" plus.  Also need to replace lamps with one that have electrical plugs and plugs to charge cell phones.  Ony plugs were behind the furniture.  Enjoyed having coffee makes, microwave and refrigerator.  Disappointed no breakfast offered except bag one.

Very nice hotel, super staff.

Disappointed. Toilet kept running, coffee maker in room did not work, microwave didn’t work, replaced it with one that didn’t work, finally the third one worked.  Didn’t expect this from what used to be a quality venue.  We had a good experience 18 years ago never again.

Dissatisfied with the amenities at this hotel

I've only been to the restaurant but the server was phenomenal. The place looks a bit antiquated but I was made to feel like I was a guest in Whitney's home. Hard to find genuine involved servers these days. She Honestly made it worth the visit and  an interest in a return visit.

Enthusiastic service

We stayed here two nights for a bicycle event. The location was very convenient. The rooms are a good size, and everything is very clean. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked and the WiFi was excellent.

Since there were not many rooms occupied when we arrived, we were surprised to find that our room windows faced the indoor atrium, rather than the outside.

The room had a microwave, refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker. They all worked, except that there was no freezer compartment in the refrigerator (broke off?), so some things that we stored there got frozen.

We only had breakfast one of two days, and it was quite good, with some hot food as well as bagels, muffins, toast and cereal.  Since the bicycle event starts early on Sunday, we wish that the Inn (which is the official hotel) would start there Sunday breakfast earlier than 7 am on that day. It starts at 6:30 am on weekends.

Some other areas that could use improvement:

The bathroom fan worked well but was VERY loud.
There was only one night table for the king-size bed.
The door keys (electronic) didn't always work; it took quite a few swipes to get the door open.
Although this property is listed as not allowing pets, there was a dog howling for hours one evening. We didn't realize this so we didn't report it, and just put up with the noise.

Nice place to stay in downtown Findlay

I had a very pleasant stay at The Findlay Inn which is located just a few minutes walk from Downtown. The room was large, clean and the decor dated. The friendliness of the staff and owner superb. Attached to the Inn is a pub/restaurant where there is good value food and drinks. Beakfast was an average choice of hot / cold selection.

On the minus side the rooms are not particulalry quiet as you can hear your next door neighbours and you will be woken during the night numerous times (as would the rest of the town) by the rail road trains which pass through with their horns blaring out.

Plenty of free parking is available on the Inn carpark.

One point i found quite bizarre is that the coffee making facilities were housed in the bathroom / toilet. Not sure why this is but found it very strange.

Very pleasant stay

My daughter graduated from nursing school and we had a family celebration dinner here. We like the atmosphere either dining inside or on the balcony. The food is always delicious not matter what is chosen. There is always a dinner special with ample servings. Only one of us finished our dinners which ranged from seafood to Italian. We all had another nice meal at home later on with our leftovers. The staff is always friendly and the service is prompt. Reservations are never a problem and usually are not needed unless you are a large party. There is ample room in a pleasant atmosphere.
