We had a wonderful stay at the Evergreen Hill Condominiums.  We rented the three-story model and the view from the balcony was fabulous.  The location is perfect.  It’s an easy drive (or walk) to downtown Fish Creek and you are centrally located to the whole of Door County.  Even though you are close to town/Hwy 42 the condos are secluded and quiet.  The condos are especially convenient for bikers.  There are two bike rental shops within a couple of blocks and it’s only a block or two to the trailhead in Peninsula State Park.  The unit, while a little dated, was well-equipped and very clean.  Bed was comfortable.  Management was excellent.  We would definitely stay here again!

Great Place To Stay In Door County

The only complaint was the beds being smaller than a king. It was nice to be able to cook our own food instead of going out every night. The flowers and champagne I ordered were awesome - we came for our mini-moon. Price was right. Too cold to use the pool. But the fireplace in the unit was great. Water pressure was awesome and loved the rain shower in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and everything was clean.

The condos are very nice and in a beautiful setting.  Out stay was very enjoyable.  One recommendation; there was no trash can under the sink as indicated on signage.  We were not sure where to put the non-recyclable trash.  

Lovely setting; close to everything

This is the second time we’ve been at the condos. They are in a great location, close to Peninsula State Park and within walking distance to shops and restaurants, yet secluded enough that there is no drive by traffic or noise. Would highly recommend.

Labor Day weekend

Great location - walkable to all of Fish Creek.  Plenty of space and very clean.  The layout worked well for us.  Would be a difficult layout for somebody with limited mobility.
Staff was super friendly. We didn’t use pool but it looked really nice.

Nice place in great location!

Very comfortable lodging just off the main highway through Fish Creek. We stayed there while taking a art class at Pennisula School of Art. Staying for four days allowed us to visit the shops and the beautiful nature that makes Door County a must see stop! Some restaurants were short on staffing so make sure to check their open times. The condo was comfortable with three levels. One bedroom up and one down with the living room, kitchen and dining area right on ground level. Pool had been closed down by the time we stayed there. Deco was generic and somewhat uncomfortable. Lots of stairs if that is an issue for anyone in your party.

Off the main route

Just had our second stay at Evergreen Hill Condominiums and are already planning the third. You cannot beat the location of this place - Fish Creek is fairly central in Door County right next to Peninsula State Park, and the units are a little off the beaten path so you don't hear or see all the crazy traffic on Highway 42 through Fish Creek. The privacy and secluded location can't be beat.

We stayed with another couple during our last stay, and with our two young kids and my wife's parents this time. Having two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen with a big living room area is amazing! It cuts down on the cost of having to rent multiple rooms. Everything is always very clean and well-maintained here. We caught the pool on the last weekend it was open for the year, and it was very clean and well-maintained. 

There might be other people in the units next to you, but you sure never hear them. We can't wait to be back!

Our Go-To Door County Stay!

For at least 5 years we have stayed at the Evergreen Hill Condos for our Door County Girls Annual trip.  This year we were disappointed.  Our fireplace wasn't working efficiently (the flame was super low and sometimes didn't even turn on) and our kitchen faucet handle wasn't operating correctly.  It was very hard to turn on.  I called the front desk 3 separate times.  The first time they said the maintenance man wasn't there that day, the second and third time he was there and suppose to come and never did.  We love having the fireplace and were disappointed that it didn't function properly.  The last night we were there, the smoke detector upstaris went off at 5 AM and woke everyone up.  We reported that as well but were leaving that morning so hopefully they checked that out.  
When I checked out, I gave the lady a list of things they never fixed and she didnt even apologize.  She just said the maintenance man was in that day and would have a look. It would have been nice if he had come during our stay so we could enjoy the amenities of the condo more.  
We took a vote - there are 5 of us - and no one wanted to go back next year to the condo.  Hopefully we can find a place that is committed to making your stay as pleasant as possible.  It's a shame because I do like the location.

5 Day Stay

Excellent office staff. Friendly and efficient. Have been renting at this facility for over 30 years. Would highly recommend for any family. The pool makes the whole package with kids. Always well-maintained over the years

Annual Salzman Vacation in Fish Creek

Evergreen condos had everything we needed for a fun few days with friends.  The spacious, divided sleeping areas, kitchen facilities and common area were all clean, comfortable and well-appointed.  Many nice touches.  We used the pool area too, which was spacious and well-kept.  The location right next to the entrance to Peninsula State Park was perfect for exploring.  It is a short drive or walk to downtown and harbor area, but tucked away from the most busy sections of town.
