Remodeling being done here, yet the place was "open".  Front entrance had construction debris and furniture all around the doors. Front counter was covered in plastic due to the painting going on in the lobby. No floor coverings, no carpet, no tile, just bare concrete.  The entire north end of this place is closed for remodeling, and the south end is is not completely finished, yet guests are being charged to use these rooms.
  First, a dead roach in the bathtub. Room is stark and sterile with no pictures or art on the walls, and no chair.  We had a coffee pot, but no cups or coffee. Desk clerk told us "our coffee was sent somewhere else", but no attempt to obtain either coffee or cups.  No shampoo or any other amenities--"we don't do that"--the desk clerk told us.
  If you like the sounds and mess and inconvenience of a construction site, this is the place for you.  We reserved our stay at Booking.com, but their website makes no mention of the conditions at this place.  When we arrived,  it was too late to cancel ......

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Our stay was wonderful and we may visit this locations  again. The location was in the vicinity of all our need, the facility was clean and maintained, the amenities available wewr exceptional, and receptionist was absolutely a pleasure

Absolutely nice

First of all, this place is REMOTE. No sidewalks, with a run-down Waffle House across the dark, four-lane country route. No one to hear you scream. If you check in after 8, you have to use the bulletproof window around the side of the building. Handwritten notes admonishing those who have the proclivity to partake of illegal drugs are haphazardly taped throughout the lobby. They make you sign a waiver saying that you have 30m to look at your room and request a full refund; otherwise, you'll be charged for the night. That's okay - I only needed 20m to decide that this place was bad news.

Once I got my key, I had to go out and around the dark building to get to a door that supposedly had key access but didn't actually lock and then go up the stairs. My room was directly at the top of the steps. I get inside my room, and the place is thick with the smell of moisture and bodily filth. The chairs were stacked one on top of the other, atop the kitchen table. The kitchenette was filthy, and the bathroom had two squares of toilet paper left and blood stains on the shower curtain. I opened one of the cabinets to find a mouldering rag that had clearly, based on the coloration, been used to wash out the toilet sitting inside. I requested another room, and a large man, different from the one who checked me in, met me; he took me down the hall, which was littered with shattered glass on the stained carpet. It was one of those rooms with a middle door so that you could turn it into a suite with the one next door; my side of that door did not lock, and the hasp of the deadlatch on the main door was BROKEN OFF, perhaps from a police raid of yore. Needless to say, I executed my right to that refund. I went outside to call an Uber to my friend's hotel, and while waiting, a white pickup skidded to a stop and the men inside tried to cajole me into getting inside.

Narrowly avoided being kidnapped for sex trafficking.

This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had! Not only did the room have a awful musky odor, but I also had to battle a family of roaches! I hadn’t been in the room but for a few minutes when I put a candy wrapper in the garbage can. I immediately spotted the first roach going toward the garbage can, so I turned on the light only to see a WHOLE FAMILY OF COCKROACHES crawling across the floor and down the dresser towards the garbage can. I was disgusted and ran to the lobby to report my findings. The receptiontionst said there was nothing she could do. I asked for the manager and it took her nearly 20 minutes to come downstairs and talk to me. She was rude and unapologetic and vehemently denied that any other guest complained about this, even though we witnessed another guest vacate their room because of similar complaints. I insisted on a refund and the manager refused. I ended up having to leave for the sake of my family’s health and I am still fighting for a refund! I’ve heard of pet friendly hotels  but this is ridiculous!

Run Out By Roaches!!!

The hotel is poorly ran. The carpets leading to the rooms were dirty. Checked in the room there were dirty towels still in the bathroom and the sheets were stained. My room had roaches. The manager would not even respond to the issues. The front office clerks had to call the managers about every detail. The evening shot on Friday night would not even speak to guest with keys. The locked the doors to the lobby and the side door near the front door was not operational. There was not enough towels to fulfill the needs of the guest. Just an overall poor stay with horrible management. 

You get what you pay for 

Let me start by saying that the staff was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Everyone was nice and helpful and pleasant. However when we got to our room, we found two cockroaches that we had to kill on two separate occasions. This was the only unpleasant thing about our stay. Again, staff is absolutely amazing.  I’m a little unsure about staying here again. Reached out to corporate before writing this review and got no response.

We killed TWO roaches

My hubby and I stayed there 3 nights. The room was comfortable with great air conditioning. Supposedly updated 6 moths ago but not sure what they did. I liked the fact there’s no carpeting. Thought that made it nice. The general manager was brand new and we thought she did an excellent job. Would stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Vacation

I stayed for a night in July and the room was very big and the kitchen was convenient. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had a really nice big tub. I felt safe, noise was low and I had an enjoyable stay. I would definitely return for another stay in the future. This is a budget friendly hotel without breakfast but good for the price.
