This is an old motel. It has been updated. The bed was ok. It was clean and quiet. Lots of food in the area. No pool here. Nice microwave and mini fridge. The computer went down while I was checking in so we did it the old fashioned way with paper and pen. Slept through breakfast. Nice flat screen TV. 

Trip south 2020

This is the hotel that horror movies are made about! If I wouldn't have been so desperate to stop, I would have kept on going.  I'm a female solo traveler with a small well behaved dog making a 1500 mile trip for the holidays and my body was dying in pain.  There aren't but maybe 2 dog friendly motels in Perry, FL, not like it was listed on all the pet sites.  The bathroom was horrible!  Looked like pet pee stains on the bathroom floor along with the dirty q-tips!  After carefully inspecting the bed for bedbugs, I laid down and woke up to a 2-3 sag in the mattress.  Wore my shoes the whole time and didn't step a foot into the nasty shower.  When I nicely asked for a slight discount the next morning for the room being so filthy, the nasty owner had the never to tell me "What did you expect, you live with animals!"  and that my dog should have slept in the car!!  This coming from a "pet friendly" motel!!!  It all ended when I finally walked out in the midst of a giant F.U. war with the very unfriendly owner!!  LESSON LEARNED, TRUST YOUR GUT!  AGAIN I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY IN THIS DUMP AND HAVE TO PAY $89.00 to get cussed out!

NEVER STAY HERE!!  Sleep in your car first!

Room was dirty. When we drove up to the hotel room we were immediately greeted buy a vagrant.We checked into the hotel, our key would not work. Once we got into the room we quickly realized that it was unkept and extremely dirty. Since the policy was no refunds we decided to leave and drive back home without staying the night

Stay away

Room was clean, except for a very sticky bathroom floor and a musty smell in the room. When we walked into the room the musty smell was very strong and also the room was VERY HOT!!! We are in Florida and the actual outside temperature was around 91 degrees! Imagine how hot the room may had been, too bad I did not have a thermometer at the time to measure the inside room temperature! The A/C should be kept running cooling the room a bit to avoid the heat and musty smell. For the sticky floor, we just wore our slippers all the time. THE BATHTUB WAS VERY, VERY, VERY SLIPPERY! A safety hazard for older fellows!

A/C was off when checked in!

We stayed there with friends that booked their own separate room there. They all SMELLED horrible!!! Like a musty mold smell!! It was so bad I had to leave our door open open the bathroom window and crank the ac for 2 hours before I would let my child walk in the room. It was VERY OLD and out dated. The bathrooms looked like a horror movie they were dirty!! Hair everywhere dirt on the floor and very outdated. I do not know how they are still open honestly. We travel a lot that is why we are members of the choice privileges group, which we are very disappointed they recommended this hotel. NEVER AGAIN gross! 

HORRIBLE

Positively the air conditioning worked well and it was not too noisy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It did have a fridge, microwave and coffee making facilities. All newish and in perfect working order.  There was lots of parking available. 

This is an older motel which is starting to show it’s age. Clearly has been refurbished in the past and had a newish bath and toilet. However, to bring it up to modern standards needs more work undertaken.  



Perhaps a rating of 3 is being generous I suppose it’s really a 2.5

The show place lobby had flickering lights and exposed wires. The room had a large wall board patch that was unpainted. The bath was moldy, there were cockroaches roaming the room and lumps of ?? under the carpet. I am guessing they about 10% occupancy so did they put me is a top 10 room? The up side is there was a very empty parking lot, lots of room for trucks and trailers.

Worst hotel I have stayed during last 15 years

Clean, good parking, quiet on the courtyard side.  Couple guys loitering around the parking lot who stayed there.  But gave me a creepy feeling.  Breakfast non-existent.  Coffee and juice machines broken, juice and milk in open containers in the cooler, had some frootloops but not  much else.   Would never stay here ever again.  Staff grumpy, complaining, unhelpful.

Clean

The manager/owner's family member creeped us out staring at us. The entire property was filthy. The breakfast room was at least 30 min late opening (We left). We were asked the age of our grandchildren??! 

Do not stay in this Rodeway. It was filthy, the manager/owner was unavailable for issues.

This motel is very is surely on its last legs. Very rundown and neglected. This motel needs a major reconditioning and we don’t think the location warrants a major change. This motel was very outdated and dirty. We would not recommend this motel. Very very smelly.
