This review is about your exemplary 
employee Corey.

 Stopped in on a long road trip about 2 am  because I had to get off the road.  Despite the late Hour the guy working the graveyard shift had a very good demeanor and seemed to work his job with pride. He was very helpful depsite me stumbling through my words. Completed my check in process quickly and answered all my questions perfectly. 

Without hesitation  he followed me out the door to tell me I had dropped all my cash on the floor. I was dead tired and wouldn't have realized it until I was Long gone the next day. Anybody I know would have kept the money in that situation, including myself to be honest.  Finding cash is a treat. Man has a good heart and should be making more regardless of what he is paid.

Everywhere should have more people like Corey. Thank you sir.

Best service

The room has indeed been updated and was in good condition. The A/C on the other hand leaked all over the floor and was so noisy I had to turn it off to go to sleep. Also- I don't know if it was birds squawking but around 1 am there was this squawking noise that went on for over an hour. I didn't sleep well all night.

Renovated but....

We stayed in a few questionable places over the years. This hotel is in the top five.It’s-a dump! Had hard floors but they were dirty. The bathroom was third world. We be bright spot, the bed wasn’t bad. The area around the hotel is also questionable. My advice-don’t stay here

Avoid

Awful! Both, the room and the bathroom were dirty. Very thin walls, so you could hear the neighbors all night. Very old furniture and equipment. No good value for money at all. The girl at the front desk was nice. 

Not recommended at all

So during the hurricane I had booked a night like I usually do for work then all the sudden they are sold out I stayed my 1 night notice the motel was not full lots of rooms available then went up front the next day to extend my stay for 2 more days they said I could not get the price I booked for but could get it for extra 50 dollars a night wow now I know what price gouging is And again DONT STAY HERE THEY Take advantage of people!!!!

What a sordid squalor from the slums of_____ (sorry; TripAdvisor won't let me say it).  Thank god for Second Amendment or I wouldn't have left my car.
The best way I could describe this  would be to take a picture of the pool now (reality) and contrast it with what they show (fantasy) on their website. Sorry; too busy getting the heck out of there to take a picture. Some future guest might.  Suffice to say it's an abomination. Think "Creature from the Black Lagoon."
I'm not sure if bulldozing the place would help.
The worst place I have stayed in 35 years of being a corporate pilot, flying around the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Worst Motel I've Ever Stayed at Within the Continental US

Desk help was friendly. Room was clean. Water pressure was good in shower.
Ice machine was broken. Semi noise if stay on the east side rooms. there is a fixit shop on that side for semi.  Felt safe.  Close to freeway 75. A lot of food places in area.

The rooms need updated and the bathroom was dirty and gross. There were dead bugs all over the floor. The only good thing was the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.  We only stayed for one night.

Bathroom was gross

Went down to the office because my room doesn't have a deadbolt on the door to get moved to a different room (preferably on the 1st floor because I'm traveling with 2 dogs - one a 20 week old puppy) and was told it "should be fine". No concern about the fact that I am worried not having the additional security of the deadbolt. Plus getting two dogs down the stairs to relieve themselves isn't pleasant. 

The room is decent enough but I definitely don't recommend staying if you're a woman traveling alone.

Decent Hotel - Not Impressed With Staff

I am interested in finding a woman who will be my best friend, companion, lover and soul-mate. I am looking for a relationship which will be stable and secure, characterized by intimacy and trust, and that will last for the rest of my life.
