Don't let the value price of this hotel fool you.  We have stayed here several times.  The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spotless, and the beds are comfortable. A light breakfast is included, with very good coffee.

I you're wanting a hotel with a gym, a sauna, and a fern bar, go elsewhere.  This isn't it.

It you want a hotel with a staff that is easy to work with, good coffee in the morning, a comfortable bed, and a sense of security. come here.   We tend to stay in AirBnBs a lot these days, but when we are in the Jackson/Flowood area, nothing beats this hotel.

Clean, comfy, and quiet

It has been twenty years since I asked for a room change. I asked for a room change and should have moved out. Room smelled of black mold. 1950's style, paint, carpet and layout. Thin sheets and towels. Not of enough towels to cover the floor so we did not have to touch the carpet with our feet. This took at least a week off my life and for that there is no price you could pay me to stay another night. Avoid this hotel!

Should have packed my bags and moved to another hotel.

We were offered an upgrade to a jacuzzi room which we duly took (an extra 45 dollars) should have looked at the room first as the decor was very poor - see photos !!

Dirty n grubby

I stay here whenever I'm in Flowood; ever since 2016. I have always had a pleasant stay & the staff is always friendly! The rooms are very spacious. You get a sink for washing dishes, microwave, & micro fridge. I also like the living room space in the room & the king size bed!

Great Stay!

I’d hate to think this is REALLY America’s best, but my room was fairly large and very clean.  The bed was on the firm side, which is preferable for me.  I often have trouble sleeping while traveling, but I slept well.  It was very quiet.  There were 4 packets for making coffee, 3 regular and 1 decaf: 2 for nighttime and 2 for waking up would have been my preference.  The microwave worked and so did the plumbing. The toiletries were skimpy.  The decor was a bit dated, but not unpleasant.  
The man at the front desk, while not exactly unpleasant, did not exude Southern hospitality.  He could not find my reservation and explained to me why that was my fault.  A few minutes before 10am checkout there was a pounding on my door.  
Breakfast, while perfectly edible, was below par.  No waffles, biscuits, grits.  I don’t recall seeing eggs unless maybe they were hardboiled. The coffee was fine.  If you’re expecting a big breakfast, choose a different motel or plan to breakfast somewhere else.  For dinner in the area, I recommend Amerigo’s.  It’s among the best in the Jackson Metro.
If you wish to be coddled a bit, Jackson has several excellent B&B’s and some fine hotels.  If you’re just looking for a place to get a decent night’s sleep, America’s Best is a good and inexpensive choice.

Okay on the basics

Very basic hotel but ok for a one night stop over and reasonably cheap. Seemed clean enough and staff were friendly. Had everything we needed in our rooms. Easy check in. Breakfast was continental but was ok.
