Motel has been there for awhile but nicely remodeled. Rooms are quite large and our bed was comfortable. Fairly easy to access from the interstate but next to a truck stop. Noises factor was not an issue. Overall a nice clean and quiet stay. 

Convenient to highway. 

Beds are very clean and comfortable. Fluffy nice pillows. Room looks just like photos. Things are a bit dated and shows some signs of wear (sofa in lobby are worn) but pretty clean. Could use a good scrub brush in corners and around trim in the bathroom though.  Room smelled clean.  Breakfast included good waffles, packaged muffins/danishes (meh). Biscuits/gravy, yogurt, oatmeal packages, cereal, apples/bananas, granola bars.  Juice, milk, coffee.  Clean dining area. Pleasant staff. 

Better than expected - good value for money 

Great location right off of Hwy 70. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Property & room were clean & inviting. Breakfast was good & had many different options. I always love the waffles that you can make fresh! Would definitely stay again. 

Quality

Given the high prices closer to St Louis we decided to stay in Foristel. This hotel is older but well maintained in most areas. The room was quite large with a king bed. Unfortunately, like most hotel kings it sank towards the middle of the bed. The bathroom had a nice big sink counter but whoever did the caulking work on the shower faux tile insert didn't know what they were doing. It was certainly not going to leak but ugly finish work. Those are the main reasons for the lower rating. However, the carpet seemed fairly new, the furniture was comfortable and the storage plentiful. The shower had a nice massage head that was above this 6' 2" man's head so gratefully I didn't have to bend over to shampoo. There was a full breakfast and the staff were friendly. Though it was near a truck stop, with our sound machine we didn't hear it all night. For a quick night's stay this place is reasonable and nice.

Decent Stay, Better Price

At 10:00 at night we discovered no hot water.  My husband went to the front desk and they said no hot water until the next day (Saturday).   We indicated we had to check out b/c of the need for hot water in the morning due to meetings.   Upon checking out, we observed the front desk clerk checking in 2 other parties and NOT telling them there was no hot water.  I asked the clerk if he intended to tell the new guests there was no hot water and he would not answer me.  I informed the clerk he was not to charge my credit card and he said he had not run it and would not.  I told him again, he was not authorized to charge it.  Upon checking my credit card the next day they had charged me $40.10 for use of the room/unable to resell.  I attempted to talk to a manager three times and each time was told a different manager arrival time and day and a different name.  To that end, I filed a claim with my credit card company.  We used to stay at this hotel every year for the same conference and always had good experiences but we will not stay there ever again.

Unauthorized Charge to my Credit Card

We stayed at this facility last month driving across country.  We were greeted with several men sitting on the front curb smoking with cigarette butts littered all over.  I went in to check in and the front desk gal was training someone.  I was perfectly fine with that (excited that there was a young person wanting to work!).  As I waited (not long at all) a gentleman came out of the back and reprimanded both of these ladies in front of me.  Embarrassing for all of us.  We were given our room and the minute we got in our room we noticed it wasn't very clean.   Long dark hair on the bedspread and bathroom vanity.  All can be dealt with.  When I asked a gentleman employee where the ice machine was he said "when are you leaving?  Oh, the guy will be here tomorrow to fix it"  It?  By the look of it they haven't been used since covid.  I understand when the ice machines were shut down.  I get it, most hotels have them back up and running.  Don't lie about it.   Additionally we did not partake in the breakfast offering.  I felt if they didn't have ice,  I probably wouldn't want to eat what they offered.   So, over all.  Not a good experience.  We will take another exit next time and stay somewhere else.

I Would Think Twice..

Good stay for the price. Clean rooms. Reminder, no elevator and no hot breakfast. Rhonda at the desk was very pleasant and put us downstairs as requested. It’s near 2 truck stops but room was quiet, left fan on high

Everything was fine.

Very comfortable king size room ,clean ,staff was very nice. Next to a truckstop but the hotel was very quiet,Would use again
Breakfast was yogurts bread sausage sandwiches fruit granola bars and cereal. Coffee and juice.

Great Stay

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean room for a reasonable price. Nice to see breakfast available again. Not a huge selection,  but decent continental breakfast options. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

Nothing to get excited about, but was decent. The air was humid all the time. Breakfast was only okay.
And they want me to add characters to this to meet their 200 character algorithm. Well. okay, but ...
