We have stayed here before so we knew what to expect. This is the closest motel to the Key West ferry. Long black hair in sink. I have short grey hair. Price is fair. No extras. Mask required to check in.

Met Our Needs

The motel was dated and could do with a deep clean. When we checked the bed there was a long black hair in it and it didn’t belong to us.
It was a good price for the area, good location.
The WiFi was good.

Ok for an overnight stay

Sucks, no wifi, can’t make any changes unless you call Booking.com to do so. Dirty room, not even a place to put clothes if you were staying for any length of time. Hard to understand the help and would rather not deal with a patron: plus side is a great local bar and grill with awesome hospitality, otherwise this is a definite bomb of a place

Just a overnight in fort meyers

We checked into our room, saw it was infested with roaches, and did not stay. We knew when we booked that the Tahitian Inn is an older, no frills motel. We were not expecting fancy. But it has roaches. We walked into our room, #118, and immediately saw 4 roaches, crawling on the wall and floor. The room appeared clean, and we would have appreciated the room, location and reasonable price. But there were roaches! A total deal breaker for me. We were planning to stay 5 nights, over the new year's holiday. Cost was $551. My husband went to the owner immediately to say we couldn't stay due to the roaches and requested a refund. The owner would only refund $441. So he has $110 for us walking into and out of a roach infested room.

Basic motel with roaches

We stayed here before our cruise. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool area. Some parts of the hotel are dated.  For a fee,  the hotel offered a park and ride service to the cruiseport. Nice people. Our car was safe in a lighted lot on the property.

Nice budget hotel with restaurant onsite.

I’m putting five star because for a budget hotel, this IS the best!

I have stayed here many times. It’s very close to the bridge into FM Beach, but not crazy pricing like down there. It’s spotlessly clean, the bed is comfy, they offer toiletries and nice towels, and the tv is big. 

The fridge, microwave & coffee set up is handy. The separate sink is nice to keep food stuff away from the bathroom. 

Parking is ample, and as another reviewer mentioned there’s a great place to eat walking distance away. 

The family that runs it is very nice, too. 

Highly recommend. Enjoy! 



I stay here often. 

Stayed last night for one night and while this isn’t a 5 star hotel it is clean and perfect for a one night stay before boarding the Key West Express. Took about 30 minutes to get there from Ft Meyers airport with little traffic. Check in was quick and the gentleman was very friendly and suggested a place only 2 minutes (walking) down the road for something to eat and a drink. 
The bedroom cooled down quickly and the beds were adequate. The bathroom was updated and clean and toiletries were supplied. I would stay there again. 

Perfect one night stay before Key West Express

The exterior aspect is old like the room but the bed are comfortable and the rooms are big enough
Good point : the bathroom is all new ! 
Everything was very clean and despite the road besides, it was quiet. 
I’d recommend the motel because is very cheap and we had a good night. 

Very good for the price 

Booked this on the Internet . Photos are great but a bit of a shock when we pulled in . Very tired looking from the outside . There is very little staff and took a while for someone to turn up to greet us . The room however was large two big beds tv  and very clean . Tea and coffee making facilities microwave and fridge . It is situated on a busy road . The location turned out to suit us well  within easy reach to express ferry to key west and easy to get to sanibel and captivity island . Good eatery 2 mins walk away for evening meal the bay grill . And a short drive to  breakfast  Perkins bakery excellent . The back end of the motel backs on to inland waterway which has benches and was pleasant to sit with a glas of wine . If only they had chance to give the outside a spruce up it wouldn't be such a shock . We had a 3 night stop and it suited us for the location .

Adequate

this place has a great location but needs so much help. we stayed because the price was the most reasonable and location is good. we has second floor end room overlooking water. it also overlooked the former now filled in pool and junk.
moldy shower curtain. couldn't have paid me to use the shower. no hot water in bathroom sink had to was up in sink in bedroom area. sink was peeling, everything needs an update.
the sheets at least were clean.
you can catch the trolly across the street to the beach. we walked but that does take awhile.
