The best place to have stayed, I am so glad we had the opportunity to stay there. It was close to every thing. We walked everywhere from there even to Times Square!❤️🥲 the town will be back better then ever!  It will take time, cherish those memories it could all be gone in a day!

I contacted TriPower, the management company that I booked with, via email and phone about a woman and a teen young lady who came off the street, got in the pool, carrying snacks and toiletries, as if they needed to bathe in the pool. The company did nothing as there are no employees on site. So I could not enjoy the pool on the last of the 3 nights spent there. I snapped pictures of the woman and the young girl was begging the woman to leave. The woman finally cursed me and gathered their things and went back out to Estero Blvd.  I will share the left over in the pool after they left but not their faces as the young girl seemed very scared but did say her dad used to work there. The company never called me back or acknowledged that this is an issue. Needless to say I was not comfortable there the remainder of the day or night.

Right on the beach, and beach was the best .Best location for the area, close and within walking distance of most  popular places, Times Square etc. my only disappointment was the band played next door til 11-12pm  through the week not sure about weekends; and it was loud. Everything was clean . Not enough pillows if you’re a pillow person. Towels were rough.,But lived with.

The Beacon is a tidy little beachfront motel. Our room was small, but very clean. The location was amazing; right in the middle of everything. There is a small pool which was clean and the area around the pool was well-kept. If you’re looking for a luxury resort, look elsewhere. But if you’re looking for decent accommodations at a decent price, this may be a good choice for you. It was for us.

The unit has a great location, only steps to the beach. The bar next to the complex has a band each night until midnight and it is loud. The noise level is impossible to ignore. This place is okay for anyone who likes to stay out past midnight. 
We wish we did our homework to find out about this before we booked.

we stayed her the first weekend of may 2021. based off the reviews i was leary, but thought why not just try it for the price. WE LOVED THIS SPOT.  I'd even call it a hidden gem. it was super clean, on the beach, no need for a rental car! i would describe it as old florida style bungalows, meaning an old florida colorful building with a beach vibe, with an upgraded decor. yeah a couple little minor things but absolutely nothing to even think about. walking to everything, a convenience store across the street with everything. (tp, sunblock, beer, soap, etc) rooms are great, a little noisy at night, but you're downtown, so it is what it is. if youre that worried about it get a fan to muffle the noise!!  restaurant/bar next door is the best!

the pictures are EXACTLY what it looks like. trust me, im a crazy person when it comes to researching hotels.
if you're looking for a super clean, no fuss, convenient, chill vibe, this is your place.

great getaway!!

The property has recently been updated so no issues with the property itself. Bed is new but very firm and the front door knob was about to fall off, which my husband fixed. Location was by far the best part about the property. Easy walking to everything.  Issues I had were with the staff. No property manager onsite so communication between management and cleaning people is not happening. I paid for early check in and my code wasnt working . The guy working kept telling me I couldnt check in till after 3 even though I kept telling him we paid to check in early. Same thing with check out, I paid extra for late check out and at 10am my code didnt work , the cleaning lady kept telling me check out was at 10 even though I kept telling her I paid extra. Communication between the parties could be better

Great property right on the beach! Local restaurants, entertainment, and convenience stores all in short walking distance of the property. Rooms were spacious and comfortable—you can tell they were recently renovated. Would definitely stay here again!

So, I am more than just a little disappointed in this place. The pictures are very misleading and the price is definitely not worth it for what you get.
Pros-easy beach access, has a pool.  if you want to be in the middle of the night life, this is your place. Walking distance to the Pier, lots of restaurants, bars and stores. Mini fridge works well, microwave, coffee maker and toaster in room.
Cons-right next to VERY loud bar that plays music until midnight. Even during the day, there is constant irritating bass coming from beachside bar. Can hear discussions in room next door. No where to hang wet bath towels, no where to hang clothes, only 1 small mirror in bathroom, no full length mirror anywhere.
Pictures make you think this particular room is ocean front, it is not. Also makes you think balcony porch is ocean view, it is actually a view of the parking lot.
There is a lot of night time lighting around and not enough window protection to get the room dark for sleeping. Some windows have blinds but some only have lightweight curtains and are not big enough for full coverage, and don’t block the spotlight type lighting from street side.
The bed was terrible, we both felt like we were going to roll off. Big mound in the middle with holes on sides. 
Overall we did not have a good experience. That being said, if you want to be in the middle of the party scene and you don’t mind LOTS of noise, this is your place.

We planned the trip to Florida from Minnesota almost a year before we went. 2 couples....2 rooms. We were staying somewhere else our first 3 days and the beacon the last 4. I had been getting the run around a couple weeks prior to leaving about getting the door code. Finally the day before we left we were told a pipe burst in our room so they were going to upgrade is at no charge to the 1 bedroom cottage. I was ecstatic!! We get to Florida and 2 days before checking into the beacon I still had not received a door code...so I called and was told they completely remodeled the cottage and we would be the first to stay there!! We would receive our door code the next day because they had to install it. Heard nothing from beacon the next day and finally called AGAIN and was told there was water damage in the cottage so I was going to have to be relocated by expedia! I was in tears. Called expedia and spent 5 hours on the phone only to find out there was not any rooms left on the beach so I could cancel or be relocated to downtown fort Myers. We were already in Florida and had no choice. So the other couple we travelled with were on fort myers beach and we were across the bridge that can take up to 2 hours to get thru!!!  This was a horrible experience for us.....we saw the couple we travelled with once because of the traffic...and we all rented the car together but they never got to use it because we were so far away from each other....so there's another 650.00 down the hole. I emailed the beacon one last time about how all of this affected our trip and got NO response. To add on to all of this.....our friends that stayed at the beacon actually met and talked to the nice gentleman that was staying in the cottage we were promised. They could have handled things so different and maybe even apologized....but nope. I HIGHLY recommend no one stays here. Our friend said their room was incredibly musty smelling and all their clothes smelled like that when they got home. Please spend a little extra to not have to deal with this kind of management.
