We found Serena inn while doing a research for a long stay hotels as we were relocating from NY. We stay there for 4 months and we were just grateful. First you have to have an open mind. This is not a 4 or 5 stars hotel. It does not belong in that league. I will not even call it Hotel but a decent motel. With that in mind, we were just grateful we found a place to stay. I think they are trying their best for we had a couple of minor issues and as soon as we notify the management they came and fixed.

You will find people that live there, and were not as fortunate as we were and you can actually see their struggles but home is: what you do out of it, and we called Serena our home while we were there.

Nasty place, don't recommend. The owner sucks at being an owner and is very aggressive. There are roaches, drug deals, a bar next door that's noisy, a pool with dirty water, staff that could care less about you and

I unfortunately ran into an issue where I had to book a super last minute room due to a mix-up with my Air BnB.

They were able to get me in last minute and truly stop the Panic Attack that was building inside of me

If you value your life or your families do not stay here! It is very unsafe and unfortunately all the manager cares about is getting his money. Myself, like many other families in Florida got stuck in the motel life due to how hard it is to get in houses or apartments in the area. I lived here for quite a while. my AC had been broken for at least a month and a half. the office knew this and would give us stained towels to help at night if the buckets had overflowed while we were sleeping ;that were used to collect water underneath the AC unit until the manager was able to get some new AC units. By the GRACE OF GOD my children, husband and I went away overnight. While we were gone the unit caught fire. Also; some of my childrens toys,electronics, my sons playpen, and a few other things due to water damage, had to be thrown away. they are material things! Our lives can not be replaced! The location, and rate might seem like a good idea but i promise its not worth it! There are plenty of better motels right next door for alittle more. Be safe and do your research ! The manager ( known as Kumar but better known as his actual name Sundeep) had nothing to say to anyone in my family as we cried in disbelief to how our little trip ended that morning. No compassion, or kind words at all as he took his pictures for his insurance. Not even later than afternoon when he attempted to get me to take the blame for his neglagence . I always paid my rent and left with a zero balance so please dont think this is a salty guest who wasnt paying and just has it out for the manager. Im trying to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Sadly the housekeeping and other office staff are very kind and good at what they do. They are what makes the motel a more pleasant environment but they are treated very badly by Sundeep and I pray they all find a work environment that gives them what they deserve. Hope by looking at the pictures you are able to see how much worse this could have ended for my family and you dont give this horrible manager anymore money than hes already recieving. He goes  to his home which has a theatre room,with themed rooms, and drives around in his numerous Mercedes vehicles and doesn't care how he treats the families that help him pay for these things. Shame on you!! He has ads on craigslist that state" free HBO and highspeed internet" there's never been HBO nor is the wifi anywhere near reliant or highspeed! Hope this helps and saves many from learning the hard way ( funny day after I posted a review on Google regarding the false advertisement on Craigslist MIRACULOUSLY after years of using the same post it no longer says HBO or highspeed..well atleast there's that ... I guess he had a guilty conscience about that but not his negligence and poor management that caused the devastation of that morning

A great Hotel With a friendly check in. for the price it's perfectly fine. great hospitality quick to assist in any needs of the guest love it. no complaints. will defiantly stay here again in future.

Great Stay

I have not had one issue since i have been here. Love my Room. Beautiful checkerboard headboards beautiful furniture beautiful tile floors. They have an awesome staff who is Always willing to help and keep the property and rooms sparkling clean! That was my biggest issue in past hotels. I am very happy with my extended stay here. The sunrise and sunsets are Amazing here!

Clean Affordable Friendly

The bottom of the bill says it all "NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN". What a rat hole, this place is a dump. My son got a reservation for my wife and I sight unsceen. Really didnt have time to find another place. The rooms are junk, beds beat up, floor sticky and get up in the middle of the night to pee and say hello to the baby clckroaches in the bathroom. No amenities at all not even a pot of coffee in the AM in the office. There is a laundry mat for the day laborers who are living there by the week and the month, O and a vending machine. 

DON'T DO IT !!

When I checked in and paid for two non refundable rooms walking into the room for the first time was simply breathtaking.  The smell of what must be roach pee as you watch about five of the offenders crawl up the wall immediately had me holding my breath until I could get back out of the room. Thinking things could not get any worse then this first impression I could not have been more wrong. This place hands down this was the nastiest and dirtiest place I have ever walked into. To say that they even have a maid service is a joke. To say they even clean the room is a joke. Everything about this place is a dirty joke. They have a staff that does absolutely nothing but be rude and creepy with the quests. The woman at the front desk with the " cleaning lady" sitting at her side is the worst one of all.  You don't have to pay a late check out if you tip the housekeeping because they have to stay late and clean the room? What? Clean?  Better make sure your tip is big enough because they keep your deposit if not. Sounds like a joke? It's not, It's the Serena Inn.

Breathtaking

I stayed at this hotel because of the location. It was close to my work and I was on 192. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and entertainment. The room quality was decent and it was all tile.

I am a over the road truck driver who just wanted an clean nice hotel l, something right for the price. Checked in Came to my room and just wanted a refund right away! Hotel bed sheets and pillow cases looked like somebody jumped all over the bed with their shoes on! Has foot prints on the pillow cases. Run down and sleeping on the bed I felt itchy all night had to go across to Publix and buy myself a little pillow and blanket to cover with because I felt disgusted laying on the bed. Bathroom shower feels like your showering with a baby sprinkler at the park. Waste of 67 dollars smh. Sorry but not sorry even a truck stop is cleaner then this place. Only came here because the reviews were good but for the people who posted that this place is clean I wouldn’t even want to see what your house looks like if you call this clean. Also got bugs on the walls by the bed so be careful sleeping before something crawls on you. Date: 04/07/19
