Area was nice and safe... The room was like walking into a box. Very questionable. It makes you want to check the bed spreads and sheets. No 24 hour desk, you have to push a button and hope the owner comes down to the bullet proof window.

Sketchy for your health.

This was sub par at very, very best. While it’s marketed as close to Gillette, which it is, it’s NOT worth the time or the non refundable money for a nights stay. We left before spending the night and sat in the very traffic we wanted to avoid by staying there. It’s disgusting with a saggy ceiling and a dirty room. Very clearly somewhere to go for a quickie with a ‘tute. Ick.

I have been in better and I have been in worse. I believe for the price, considering the price of other rooms in the area, I  can not complain.  They are in the middle of remodeling, and it looks like they have been making many improvements to the place. The bathroom in my room had been remodeled, and there was new carpet and brand new sheets on the beds. The place was quiet, and I never felt uneasy there even though I am a female that was traveling solo.  The man at the front desk was very nice and friendly, and offered the Wi-Fi password when I checked in.  The TV and cable worked fine, Wi-Fi worked great, as did the A/C.  There was a mini fridge in the room that looked relatively new and was very clean.  The room was perfect for my needs and fit my budget. If I was ever in the area again and needed a room, I would certainly go back. This would be a great place to stay if you were going to a game at Gillette Stadium, for it is very close to the stadium. I noticed one of the other reviews said something about the place being crowed or loud during football season.....but that is what most football fans want anyhow.

Relieved solo traveling female

I will never stay here again. The "clean" towels were already dirty. The shower had mold. The heat was also not working. I had a horrible night sleep as you can hear everything around you. Also there was not a mini fridge

Disgusting

Our room was recently renovated with all amenities included.
Spent 2 nights and slept very well.
Location is good with Gillette stadium within walking distance.
Owners are very welcoming.
Recommended!

2 Days Family stay

We stay at the Red Fox a few times a year for Patriots night games since it so incredibly convenient to just walk back to the motel only about a half mile from the stadium. Ownership is great and we are on a first name basis with them (they even text or call us to check on if we are staying for an upcoming game).

They are undergoing remodeling at our room looked great (we usually stay in 122), with updated flooring, granite, painting, and more. Some of the complaints from other reviewers about the room conditions should become satisfied with the work they are doing. 

For the price and convenience, this can't be beat. If you are looking for 5 star luxury, there's that hotel at Patriots Place charging hundreds of dollars a night. For the price and a clean, quiet place to stay, the Red Fox is a good choice.
