The only good thing about this place…the fellow who checked us in was very friendly. This place was so outdated. Not clean…the beds were uncomfortable..the place looks like it is falling apart. You would be better off to continue on to the next exit! Enough said.

Move on…this is not worth paying for

When we arrived there was hoodlums sitting everywhere outside drinking and climbing in windows at 1:30 am.   Being loud and throwing stuff into the parking lot.    
The room was filthy….. the furniture and carpet was stained.  The spare toilet paper roll had a black moldy stuff on it.   We didn’t even stay we just left without asking for a refund!

This place should be shut down!

I am so impressed with this little place. Its like a safe haven for me considering I live 5 hours away and I am traveling alone. I tried staying at a motel that was horrifying. I got ripped off at the motor Inn and immediately ran to the Econolodge. Josh was so nice to me. He even showed me my room before I payed for it. Its very comforting here. I feel safe and I can tell my room is clean and taken care of. After the disrespect I encountered at the motor inn, I was half tempted to head home. But Josh and Econolodge saved my trip and I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Frackville and Pottsville. Worth every penny and very affordable. Most importantly, the staff is friendly, helpful, and they care here.  I will come back for sure. Thank You Econolodge and thank you Josh.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

Pros- It was close to the interstate, accepts pets, check in was easy, heater/air conditioner works great, room and surrounding area was quiet. 

Cons- Upon entering our room it was about 90 degrees since the heat had been left on high, everything in the room besides the sheets and towels was extremely worn and outdated, our bed wobbled to the point I thought one of us was going to end up on the floor in the middle of the night, parking lot was extremely icy and had not been salted or sanded, expensive for what it was.

Good if you get cold easily

Stayed here for work (Didn't want to drive in a snow storm ) , I usually stay at the Comfort Inn but I couldn't pass up the Holiday Room Rate special....57 Bucks a night,  can't beat that.  As a solo guy it's fine.  

You get a bed, a bathroom, a TV and there's coffee in the lobby.  It's in the middle of a residential area. If you need luxury or a room with tons of amenities,  stay at Comfort Inn. If you just need somewhere to hole up , this is your place.

Best Deal in town

The Econolodge was fine for the price, but I wouldn’t recommend it for more than one night. The wallpaper and carpets were patched and the room had a musty smell, but it was clean and I had a pretty good night’s sleep here. 

One Night Only

Went to check in and the person at the desk miscalculated the total bill three times...each time too high. She was either extremely poor at understanding math or was trying to screw me.....i think the latter. Her attitude was so poor that i left without staying,

Watch your bill carefully

The rooms in this hotel stink!  They smell of mildew and there was visible mold in the bathroom ceiling.  Not very clean and they came into my room to clean it while I was at breakfast and before I even checked out.  Worst place I have ever stayed at.

Awful

Look people it's an Econo Lodge. If you want more than pay more. This place is okay for an overnight stay. The basics were fine with us. The bed was comfortable. The lady that checked us in is very nice. For breakfast good coffee & juice. Other than that not much. That's okay because the Dutch Kitchen is next door and it is awesome.

Visiting Family in Girardville

We needed a last minute place to stay that would accommodate our two large dogs. It’s old and run down and a bit sketchy feeing. Staff were friendly and linens were clean but the rooms were musty and old. Bathrooms need updating badly with peeling wallpaper and mildew on the walls. Our door stuck badly when you tried to open it but the lock doesn’t work well and we could yank the door open even with it locked. 
We would have stayed somewhere else had it been an option. 
The pictures listed online look nothing like the rooms. Very misleading.
