Friendly staff, clean rooms and great prices would recommend to friends and family. Fast food near by.  Bed was firmer than I use but slept well. Pillows were great also. New Mexico few minutes away. Quite at night especially during sleep hours.

Great price clean room friendly staff

All the high quality service, amenities, cleanliness, high speed internet, comfort of a 5-star hotel! With the personable, peaceful serene atmosphere of a small town place, including parking right outside my door!  Even the coffee in the morning and the soap and shampoo were top notch! And a HUGE plus - the fragrance free atmosphere!!!  My sensitivities to chemicals often mean that I have a hard time tolerating the laundry soaps and cleaning products used, but the Friona Inn is mindful of this and everything just smelled CLEAN with no coverup! So quiet and comfortable!  Just can’t say enough good things about this lovely surprise of a place!

Hidden Gem in Small TX Town

I have been staying here, when I am in the area, for over 8 years. I have also recommended it to coworkers that now stay here. IMO this is nicer than you can get at a NAME brand up the road in Herford, but I doubt you will get the hospitality and friendliness of Dee. In addition, this is one of the best maintained Inn's I have stayed in and I am in motels between 150 & 200 nights a year. If what's important to you is Name brand, great breakfast, good selection of restaurants, stay in the big city. If you want value and hospitality, often lacking these days, Ms Dee will provide you both.

You cannot find a better value

Oh boy. Where do I start? I have been travelling from Florida to California, staying in many roadside motels. Hands down this is the very best of the best. I cannot invent any negative things to say about this place. I stayed here 3 nights. Initially I planned on one night. I kept extending my stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet and rest. From the minute I walked into the office I was met with friendly hospitality, the check in was fast and easy, I got to my room and was immediately struck by how clean and nice it was. TV, microwave, refrigerator, wi-fi, wonderful bed, desk, recliner chair, dresser, etc. Bathroom was clean, hot water, good pressure on shower, EVERYTHING you want in a motel Guest laundry room is cheap, they had the drier for FREE. The rate was under $60 and the price vs what I got was beyond fair. PLEASE, if you're driving route 60 and are getting tired and need a place to stay, stop in FRIONA and stay at the INN. THANK YOU FRIONA INN.

The Perfect Resting Place.

We like to stay at the local small non-chain hotel and this fit the bill. Very friendly owner who takes great care of her hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and modern and most importantly clean! The sheets and towels were crisp and smelled fresh. Great place at a great price. 

Clean and affordable 

This is a small privately owned Inn. They are always looking for ways to improve the property inside and out. You cannot find a nicer place for the amount you pay. I stay here every chance I get. The lady that is managing it is VERY nice as well. They offer coffee only in the am. Small price to pay for this nice of a place. I just make sure I bring something to eat.

Off the beaten path

This little motel is a gem, the staff was super friendly, and has good suggestions about local food favorites. The room was very well kept, and cozy. The only noise I heard was from the blue collars getting up early for work. Great spot, will return.


On point

It was my first time staying, so I wasn't sure what I was going to get, but it was more than I expected. The rooms are clean and all the fixtures are updated. There is fridge, microwave and free WiFi. Very enjoyable stay and the staff is very friendly...small town feel. Thank you!!

Clean, tidy and friendly

It was getting late and we were tired.  Hotels we checked in Clovis were full so we went on.  I read the reviews about this hotel and we stopped by to see if there any rooms available so late at night.  We were lucky and got the last room.  The clerk was very nice and check in was fast.   The rooms are good size, beds were comfortable and in general everything was very clean.  Bathrooms were ok too.  Refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer as well as soap and shampoo were available.   No cofee maker and no breakfast at this hotel.   Price lower than equivalent places.   If you have instant cofee with you it is possible to use the microwave to heat water for cofee in the morning.   I believe that they may have free cofee at the office in the morning.   Ice was available.  Ample parking and good Wi Fi.  Good location just next to the main road, but quiet.

I would stay at this hotel again.
