This place is nasty. I guess you get what you pay for. When I pulled back the sheets, there were long black hairs between the top sheet and bottom sheet. There was make-up smudges on the pillowcases. It was really late, I was tired and there is a no refund policy. I didn't have extra money to find a new motel. I slept on top of the covers with a towel covering the pillows. It's very run down and I don't think the room had been cleaned in awhile. Don't stay there!

Nasty

After staying here one night, I will never stay at a Budget Inn anywhere. It was everything I would never want in a room. It was getting late and I had few choices in motels without a reservation. Had to communicate through a sliding glass partition (so not a safe part of town). Unpatched chipped walls. Two inch gap under door let in noise and humidity. Door was ajar when I first approached the room. No sink stopper. Uncomfortable, noisy bed. No wi-fi code in the room. On the up side, the A/C worked and the toilet flushed. Paid $49; worth $5.

Never again

It was around 11 PM and I had no problem getting a room at a quite reasonable price. I was on my way home, so I only slept there and it was very comfortable. I slept like a baby. I checked the shower to see if it worked and it did.

A place to sleep

I came here for one reason, and only one reason. Logistically speaking, you need to stay in Gadsden if you're going to The Talladega Racetrack from the north. I knew it would be a weak stay. This place is cheaper than everything else. I didn't take a shower here or even open my pack! The whiny first time travelers attacked it here and elsewhere. Pay attention please! If you book the cheapest room in town you probably booked a nasty spot! I just needed a door I could lock and a flat surface to lay on. Mission Accomplished, as Bush '43 would say. The Wi-Fi is a scream! I got kicked off, dropped off, blown off... OK. I'm done. I feel a little better now. Hey, I didn't see any loitering trouble makers. This ain't the Ritz-Carlton.

Talladega pre race flop house

We stayed for about a week and a half.The rooms are ok for the price but its always loud,people are always slamming doors.After ten o clock at night the owners dont care what happens,cussing,yelling,fighting.Do not bring your kids there! They owe us a security deposit we did not recieve back after we left!!!!!!! The only thing i can say good is i didnt see any bugs.

Loud,very loud,housekeeper is very sweet,the rooms are ok,just loud and always people slamming doors.

the absolute worst place there is in the US. Could not even open the door to the room until the manager opened it. Filthy carpet, bathroom was hideous, the bed sketchy. Water from the faucet was dark brown until it ran for a while. Do Not stay there.
