This was the First time here Close to office.Very friendly staff.Close to binny bs restaurant.Room clean.No breakfast but rooms have kitchenette.Will be back.Needed printing.Staff printed it all Definitely recommend this stop.Ample parking.

First time 

A nice change with a great homey feel. Clean facilities with everything you need to have a short or extended stay with the nice amenities having a refrigerator, kitchenette, and all the utensils. The bed is over soft but so are most new hotels. My room smells new or recently redone. The noise of the back and front side is relatively non-existent. However parking is a premium as they share a lot with a restaurant bar and grill that flows over into the hotel area quite frequently.

Great little home away from home

I am in town on business, and (luckily) my girlfriend drove over to make a couples trip out of it. 
Exceptionally helpful and friendly front desk staff. I cannot say enough great things about these fantastic employees. 
Super clean, quiet and in the middle of the city of Galliano. 
Will definitely stay here on next business trip !

PERFECT. PERFECT. PERFECT. 

We stayed four nights during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I have allergies and sensitivities to cleaning chemical odors.  I requested before my stay to not use any carpet fresh or strong cleaning supplies in my room. The room was very clean and they honored my request.  Never heard noise or people talking while in our room.  Every time we entered and exited the lobby, someone behind the desk always acknowledged our presence. Will stay again if the need arises.

Quiet, Clean, and Friendly!

Located right across the street from WalMart and just steps away from McDonald's (and Wow Café), this hotel is GREAT for an extended stay.  It is a little pricey for a long term stay, but we are here for 4 days.  The hotel is right next door to its cousin, Holiday Inn Express, and we are permitted to walk the 100 feet or so over for free breakfast!
The room is very nice - roomy and clean and well thought-out (there is even a shampoo-conditioner-shower gel dispenser on the back wall of the tub/shower).  There are ample electrical outlets and a great kitchenette.  If you are in the Cut Off/Galliano/Golden Meadow/Fourchon area for a few days, give it a try.

Heads Up!

This is an excellent IHG property.  I had the opportunity to try two rooms while there (because of my travel arrangements, NOT because of any problem with the hotel).

The rooms are spacious with plenty of desk and counter surfaces to spread out.  Each room had a kitchen that was well kitted out with utensils, pots, plates, etc.

The bed and linen were extremely comfortable.  The pillows suited me quite well; I got good sleep during my trip.

The bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water and good water pressure.  The towels were new, thick, and soft.  This hotel used wall-mounted dispensers for shampoo and shower gel.  I like this for reducing plastic waste from the tiny bottles.

The air conditioning unit in each room was up to the task of fighting off 90-degree high-humidity weather.

The only negative thing I could say about this property was the rate.  For this area, I think the rate was too high (as was the Holiday Inn Express next door).  The rates are out of proportion to the area.

A shiny new hotel in a remote area

Good location. Plenty of parking. Good check-in. Friendly staff. FREE guest laundry. Nice exercise room. Quiet. Breakfast is not served at this hotel, but at a sister hotel next door which is a Holiday Inn Express, so I think it only fair that I do not rate it here. There seems to be a lack of front desk personnel. Room & common areas clean & presentable. Spent two nights on the 4th floor. Nothing to look at out the windows. As a matter of fact, what we could see looking down to ground level was gross! Looked as though it was a sewage disposal area! This is a 3 year-old hotel, but it seems brand new. It is bright, clean, clear and everything works as it should! Such a pleasure! I feel as though I am the first person to stay in my assigned room!

Cut Off Candlewood

The room was very large and well appointed.  The bed and pillows were comfortable and the curtains blocked most of the light.  The hotel is near enough to Fourchon for easy commuting back and forth.  The staff was very friendly through out my stay.
