Room was just over 2 miles from Coring and Corning Glass Museum. Affordable,  clean,  comfortable,  quiet, near dining and shopping.  Waze dogs try to send us across the street to the Hampton Inn each time we left and returned though. Hotel is dared but has had some renovations. 

A clean,  comfortable, and affordable stay.

I made a mistake when booking and the staff has been extremely helpful in sorting this out, so this is well appreciated. The hotel is very well situated if you want to visit the glass museum (I recommend this). It’s a little bit outdated but otherwise comfortable.

Hubs found this spot at hotels.com and as we approached didn't see many cars and thought it was closed! However we did see a few near the front door. We were tired and didn't need all the "bells and whistles". We got what we paid for. It was quiet and clean and not terribly expensive ($60.) It has Continental breakfast although started at 7:00AM and we hit the road earlier. There is no night desk clerk but if you dial 0 you can connect with someone if need be.There was no microwave but tv and WiFi were good as was the bed. There was a coffee pot but no coffee - little problems that come under the heading "No Frills" - We'd stay here again although will ask for 2nd floor up.  I DO NOT SUBMIT FAKE REVIEWS!! If I was a business I'd REALLY be upset with that so, real reviews only!!

Just looking for clean, quiet, and cheap.......

This hotel is not part of a big chain, but is clean and well kept. We spent the night after visiting the Corning Museum of Glass and enjoyed a good night. The beds were comfy and the place was quiet. For a  mlm and pop hotel, it is very well kept up. Would stay again if we are in the area again.

Clean and comfy!

A friend and I attended a conference in the area and stayed here as opposed to the conference center. 
For a privately owned hotel I was pleasantly surprised with how clean and nice it was. It was not fancy and the breakfast wasn’t much, but it met our need for a decent place to sleep quite well!! 

Good place to sleep!!

A small place at a driving distance from Watkin's glen. Affordable and full value for money. Its neat and clean and also provided with some good breakfast. We were out most of the day, but a nice easily accessible place, with lots of free parking and definitely worth the money you pay for. Definitely not scary as how Motel's are portrayed in movies.

The hotel is a bit out dated, but the room was clean and the location is safe. Surrounded by picturesque mountains. Good place to see the fall leaves. Decent breakfast and the price could not be beat for the area.

This place wasn't a big brand name but I was treated better. The women on the front desk was friendly and very helpful. We were a late arrival and a friendly face was very much appreciated. I would go there again.

Big heart little name

Great checkin with a lovely friendly lady. Room was clean but basic. We booked & paid for a family room but insufficient towels in the room. Tiny bath towels  could just about bathe with them. 

Hotel needs basic maintenance from the outside looked like a dump & dirty. 

Room was clean & bed comfy. 

Breakfast was an array of cereals toast muffins & coffee. Couldn’t drink the coffee or tea as it was kept in flasks & just warm not hot to enjoy. Breakfast is passable.

I was disappointed in this property. It is older (a former Super 8) and some of it leaves a bit to be desired. Worst part was the bathroom. Fortunately, the toilet and floor appeared to be newer. But the tub and sink were old, and the walls looked like something had been splattered on them with little to no effort to clean/cover it up. Air conditioner was a relic and looked like a fire hazard. On the bright side, the carpet and linens appeared to be clean. And the room didn't have a funky smell. I might stay again in a pinch but it would be on the bottom of my list.
