Stayed here for 4 nights in November. The location is great since it is in town and near the national park. The condos are a bit dated. Check in was smooth. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. I did have to go back to the office and ask for a hair dryer since there wasn't one in the unit. We had a view of the woods and it was very quiet. Another good thing was the directions for the TV. I have stayed in condos where there are several remotes and no directions. This place had very clear directions. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice condo close to national park

The location was very quiet from traffic noise, located just off the main strip near the park entrance and within walking distance to the main strip. The BEST river view and sound I have found anywhere in Gatlinburg. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, I have stayed at Park Place before in another condo that had been remodeled and it was excellent. I am NOT satisfied with the condo I stayed in this last time that allowed PETS. It smelled poorly and could use a good deep cleaning. It did not feel clean. We decided to wash the bed linens before we slept on the bed. We removed a pillow case and found a blood stain and yellowish stain on the pillow. We reported it to the office and they said house keeping must have over looked it. That is no excuse in my opinion. They did bring us 2 new pillows. The entire condo needs updating. Again, the staff provided very good service. I recommend looking for one of the condos there that has been updated.

Be sure to pick an updated condo. Overall a good place to stay.

Excellent location. Beautiful setting   Inn staff is very nice. Condos are well worn.    In my opinion, the biggest drawback is they need to hire a new and more efficient cleaning service.  The cleaners just hit the highlights.  We found dirty dishes in the cupboards, filthy floors, and dust all over.   Our grandchildren’s feet were BLACK just from walking on the condo floor.  All outdoor spaces should be pressure washed regularly.  If these places were clean, this place would be the place place to vacation.  For the cost, it is too expensive to expect the renter to take out the trash and do the dishes.

Think about this…before you book it

We have stayed here before and still love it. Just a block off the main drag of Gatlinburg. Plenty of parking. The rooms are spacious. Home away from home. Fully loaded kitchens. Better than others we have stayed in. Right on the creek. Loved drinking coffee on the balcony listening to the water. Swimming pool and hot tub was perfect after a long day of walking and playing.Great prices on rooms. Plus we had a cute welcoming member from the neighborhood. See pictures.

Wonderful place to lay your head for a great price.

It's not the smartest thing to try a last-minute trip in the incredibly fall color/leaf season of October, but we did. The places we usually stay were booked. We came across Park Place. Not only did they have availability, but we got a 3 BR/3 BA condo for just a bit more than three hotel rooms would have cost us. It was a great deal AND we had plenty of space to hang out and visit together without being crowded in one hotel room, sitting on beds, etc.

Some minor things need some attention, but it was nothing that would prevent us from returning.

It's quiet. It's very close to the park entrance (HUGE bonus for us to avoid traffic on the Parkway) and it's easy walking distance to the Parkway for dinner/evening stroll.

We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful experience for last-minute trip

These condos are in a Great location right at the entrance to the national park yet a quick walk into town. #404 was perfect! Beautiful!  The owners put so much care into the quality of the furniture bedding and couches and even the kitchen cabinets. The layout is more than enough for 6 people, it never felt crowded. It was very clean and felt like home (well Much cleaner than my house ha ha). It’s great to have a bathroom attached to each of the 3 bedrooms and with bunk beds in 2 of the large bedrooms this place can sleep 10 comfortably. There is a large table with 6 seats and 2 stools at the bar on the other side of the kitchen counter. The large whirlpool tub in one of the bathrooms is amazing and there are plenty of seats on the large balcony over the rushing creek. Very relaxing!  We appreciated how much the owners put into making this a great place for a getaway and will be back and will recommend to friends!

Park place condos #404

Our stay was good. However, for that I had to fix the handles in the guest closet and purchase shampoo from the convenience store.  I wish the housekeeping is a little better in this place. The location was indeed great and I really appreciated free parking considering other  places in Gatlinburg. Give this place a little more care and it will be great!

Great location. Needs some TLC.

Great Location! Rooms not in the best shape but okay. Price for the room not bad. The place said no pets but we notice in the bathroom somebody had a dog in there because it chewed the trim and the door. Also if your on the first floor you can hear the ones up above open and closing the sliding glass door so that was annoying. Had a great view from the balcony of a creek. We could see trout swimming there and see some ducks. Overall the vacation was not too bad. I shared some pictures from the balcony didn't take any inside the condo. I would recommend staying here at Park place condominiums.

Great Vacation

We had an amazing experience from check in until departure. The lady At the front desk welcomed us with a happy face and personality. We went to our room to find it cozy and comfortable. The view from the balcony was very beautiful and sound of the stream was relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

Hidden gem in gatlinburg

Hate to say it, but not sure how we’ve never stayed here before.  With that said, we most certainly will be returning.

-Great Location……easy walk to everything (1 min walk to Peddler’s Steak House)
-Awesome customer service
-Very clean in and out of the condos
-Quiet (at least during our stay)

Cons 👎🏼
-If any cons at all would be the condo we booked was a bit outdated.  No big deal for us and most certainly not a deal breaker
-Been nice if the hot tub would’ve been open.  I get why the pool was closed 

Overall
Like I said earlier…..we most certainly will be returning here.  For the past four years we’ve rented another newer condo at a much higher price on the northern end of the strip.  We now prefer this one.
