Neat clean little cabin. The air conditioner works great! Had all the necessities for a great little place to stay. Close to white water rafting and tubing. Would definitely stay here again! I was very surprised that there were no mosqutoes! So made for an enjoyable campfire experience.  Nice pool on premises that gives a peaceful respite from the heat.

We brought our Scout group to for a week trip.  From start to finish we were treated well, the camp had everything we needed and tent platforms were so helpful.  The kids enjoyed the fishing, swimming, playing basketball and volleyball, and the bathrooms were close.  Thank you for giving us a great week.

Scouting trip

This is a good campground in need of campsite attention. We pulled in by the river sites with a 33 ft travel trailer and found very little gravel, a lot of mud and very unlevel.  We had to use boards to back in to our site to keep the back frame of trailer from dragging the plumbing off. We do love the area and atmosphere, but sites need gravel and leveling in a big way.

This is a very poor campground for bigger rigs. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon around 5:30. Office closed but found our paper work and drove to the site on a terrible bumpy gravel narrow  road. Sites are all gravel and unlevel. Electric box was broken. Had to call their emergency number. Took the an hour and a half for them to fix.  The sewer line is set at such an angle it is up hill direction.   The water pressure is a trickle at best.  Would advise not to stay here at not in a Class A motorhome. Other campgrounds are way better.  Paid $95 a nite for this crap.  Sad rip
off in my opinion 

Do not Stay Here. 

The staff was amazing. Some of the friendliest people I've ever met. My family and I had a wonderful time. The pool was perfect not over chlorinated. I look forward to our next trip. Our campsite on the creek was shady and cool. You could feel the cool air come from the creek. The water slide attendant was so kind and fun with the kiddos.

Fun For All

1st this will be lengthy but the corporate office for Adventure Bound Resorts would not return my messages for a return call to complain so I have been left with no choice but to complain on here and hope as many people see this so no one will want to stay at this place. PLEASE SHARE IF YOU FEEL SO!!! We have been here MANY times in the past, never had any complaints as we always went back. We would tent camp then noticed they had little cabins, tiny homes, is what I call them. They were always nice and clean. I guess over the years with change of so called propery managers it has gone down hill. The last time we went was probably 5 years ago and were still in great condition. We decided for a family vacation we would go here this year, BIG mistake. We rented 4 of the log cabins #s 157,186,187 and 188 for 7-12 thru 7/16. When we arrived on 7-12 everyone got situated. Cabin 157 had trash all under the sleeper sofa, which ok may not be a big deal to some but when your paying 2700.00 to stay somewhere you don’t expect to clean before you sleep. We can do that at home and save money. Cabin 187 had a bad case of ants. So the next morning I went to the office to let them know what was going on. Rooster, one of the maintenance men, came to the cabin sprayed and sprinkled some little pellets around to see if that would help. We thanked him for his help. By that afternoon, my daughter went up to the office and talked with Cameron the “manager” about the issue because they had to move the bed away from the wall in the middle of the floor hoping ants wouldn’t get in the bed. His response was what am I supposed to do about it. 1st you could have offered to put her and her family in another cabin and/or a rental rv but nothing. Needless to say they ended up leaving and going back home. There is a clause that states about wildlife but I do hate to inform you Cameron, maybe you should go back to where you came from because Ants are not wildlife they are called pest in Tennessee. The pool didnt open until Friday so the only water the kids had to play in was the waterslide. Woo-hoo. They went to Dollywood for that! For the rest of us we all ending up leaving Saturday morning because we were so aggravated. Worst experience ever! Will never go back to this hell hole!!!

TERRIBLE

Very disappointed in this place, half the lights didn’t work and after all day in the smokies we go to cook out dinner and stove didn’t work, no phone or internet service, 2 towels for 2 people for 2 nights and tv a fuzzy

Paid almost 1000.00 for a birthday getaway for my 10yr old which was cut short. There were bugs everywhere from the beds to the kitchen. I understand we were in the woods camping out for a $1000.00 we should have been able to stay the whole time. We turned the stove on and ants just came running off of the stove. I had to leave all my food that I brought there due to ants all in it. I highly regret spending time and money there and had to leave a day early.

Disgusting

We stayed here three nights in a Deluxe cabin and had a fantastic time.  This was the cleanest cabin we've stayed in anywhere.  Campground is well designed and clean, pool, slide, pond, playground, store all great.  Very friendly and helpful staff.  It's close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to be convenient,  but far enough to be in the "wilderness."  We would definitely here again.

The Wife and I have been avid outdoors & camping folks for over 20 years now… We love to: fish, beach comb, swim, explore, adventure parks or hike the Appalachian foots hills almost any time of year, with the exceptions of; Tornado, Blizzard or Hurricane weather… 
So, now we are at the age to the youth of our golden years at 50 something and we no longer totally rough it, because we’ve grown quite accustom to a hot shower, a real stove, and comfy bed while camping and in the sweltering heat of summer in the south an air conditioner is an imperative must at the end of an long hot and overly humid day in the southern outdoors.

So, we bought and refurbished an older 1997 Jayco  hitch-up  type camper that sleep up to six kids and two adult rather comfortably. That Jayco was tough, well built, still being quite road and off road worthy for the mountains or any beach parks…

The Jayco was or first real camper with all the modern conveniences such as a: shower, stove, kitchen, refrigerator, small bathroom, dinning room table, large crushed simulated velvet fold out couch. Our first Jayco camper was pretty much the bomb our five kids absolutely loved it!

Yesterday, we finished purchasing our second and probably last luxury RV camper we will ever own before we get too old to travel around anymore and it was another genuine Jayco but this time it’s a premium line Northpoint “smart camper” with pretty much all the high tech bells and whistles you could ever ask for short of putting your own house on wheels and trying moving it around to all the places you’d like to visit or live for a while? 

We bought our new top of the line Jayco at Camping World in Byron, GA and the excellent, professional and friendly CW  staff made our major buying experience even more pleasurable. They got us into the camper we really wanted at the best monthly payment, banking interest loan rate, and with the least amount of money down as possible for such an high end luxury camper…

Camping World is pro; Family, American, Patriotic, and outdoors recreation all the way!

Mr. Bob and Mr. Larry are top notch (former us veterans) outdoor Camping/RV and camping supplies experts not doubts for sure these men will help you anyway they can with your new camper or camping supplies or even troubleshooting any camper/RV issues! 

They two fellows Matthew and Phillip at Camping World in Bryon, GA are great young men as well
And they are learning their way around showing Camper’s and all the financial/purchasing ins and outs of the RV arena as well…

Big Kudos to all the CW staff in Byron, GA they are great people who love what they do and Camping is their lives, they live eat sleep and breath everything about camping and the great outdoors!
