Just love it here. There are no negatives, just positives. Rooms are great, people are great, the breakfast is great. Hoping to make staying here at least an annual thing. The house and the rooms are very comfortable, and the owner makes you feel very welcome. 

Just a wonderful experience

We stayed with Gail and Jon for 3 nights. Some things were wonderful: breakfasts, immaculate room and bathroom, comfy bed, quiet, common space, hospitality. But one thing was exceptional: Gail and Jon. You can teach "good" to some people, but some people are just that way. Perfect hosts. 5 stars. I hope we can do this again. Dave L.

Great space, good people

Had a wonderful stay. Gail was so accommodating and friendly. The assistant Inn keeper Olivia was equally as accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast every morning are amazing. The rooms are great and very comfortable. Will stay again!

Will stay again

Temple Hill met our needs well.  Gail was very flexible with an early check in and a later check out due to our attending a funeral.  This bed and breakfast is more homey than elegant which was fine.  The room and bath were very clean.  It was nice to have use of a refrigerator for leftovers. Cold bottled water was kept well stocked. Breakfast was delicious, hot and served to specific preferences.  Gail even shared a yummy banana/pineapple bread recipe.  We enjoyed her 3 cats.  The outside back porch sitting area was lovely for relaxing or eating.  We appreciated that we were not rushed away from the breakfast table as we so enjoyed conversation with other guests.  Gail was attentive to everyone's needs.  This was a great location to everything in Geneseo and Mt. Morris.

The only "could be improved" I can think of would be to replace the air conditioner in the Genesse room as the compressor had a loud knocking sound.  It was nice to be able to control room temp however. 

For others to be aware of: there are two steps up to get into the bathroom. Plenty of night lights so we felt safe.  Also, the door to the house is left unlocked and rooms were not lockable from the outside.  Again, just an awareness piece. At no time did we feel unsafe or worry about our belongings.  It was like being a family member coming and going from our house.

If in the area, we would stay here again. 

Homey Stay

Highly recommended! We have stayed here about once a year for almost ten years now and the experience is always consistently wonderful and just keeps getting better. Having access to the grounds, the living room and a gorgeous pool ( long enough for lap swimmers like me) make for great downtime. The breakfast was cooked perfectly each morning and great coffee for all the "java snobs". See you next year!

Always Wonderfull!

We are a group of three retired Army officers, and our wives, who get together twice a year over a five-state area, and always in a B&B. Our stay at Temple Hill was perhaps the best. We were immediately made to feel at home by our host Gail. We were awe-struck by the size, condition and history of the home and grounds. The rooms were large and spotless. Our group was unanimous in saying that the breakfasts were the best we have experienced. Conversations with Gail were stimulating and fascinating. Breakfasts were made even more enjoyable with the addition of Gail's helper, Olivia. If you are traveling in Western New York, go out of your way to stay at Temple Hill.

Fantastic Reunion

The temple Hill B&B is a beautifully appointed stately mansion in a gorgeous little college town near Letchworth State Park.  Does it get any better?  Yes!  Gail White, the hostess, and her outstanding assistant Olivia make the best breakfasts and made us feel instantly like we were old family friends.   My wife and I have been B&B fans for  decades and this was the best time we’ve ever had.

Best B&B experience ever

Very clean, quiet, beautiful back porch—great breakfasts and wonderful hospitality.  We stayed in the Rose room and it was very nice and comfortable.  The dog and cats are super friendly.  Such incredible history for the city of Geneseo too.

Wonderful stay

The hospitality was out of this world and the entire atmosphere was just delightful! Gail was so helpful with any questions we had & her assistant Olivia made a wonderful breakfast each morning! Temple Hill itself is full of history, and the town of Geneseo is just as well! The location is perfectly near enough to Letchworth State Park, which is what we came to see. We were also able to visit quite a few antique shops in Geneseo and surrounding areas. I loved that the towns were not built up to feel touristy at all. I felt like we had discovered a secret treasure while we stayed at Temple Hill. Would love to come back!

I am torn between wanting to tell everyone about Temple Hill and wanting this sweet B&B to remain a hidden gem✨

This gem is worth looking into. Beautiful building, very clean, spacious room and amazing breakfast! The owner is very friendly and helpful. The location is within walking  distance of the downtown area.  We didn't use the pool but it was clean and very inviting.  This was everything you would expect of a first class bed and breakfast except the rates are very reasonable!! Will visit again!
