Arrived to find they had gone up on their prices from the previous yr. Now $58 Plus taxes and fees total $70. When I entered room 116 the smoke detector was chirping indication low battery. Owner with assistance from house keeper were able to remove but did not replace the battery. Was awoken at 11:30p by alarm chirping again. Owner was unwilling to come silence the alarm and moved me to a room upstairs. He was also unwilling to bring the new room key to my room after I had packed up my belongings for the move so had to go the office to get the new key where someone was checking in and told them if I were them I’d stay somewhere else. And if this isn’t enough to disway you from staying here I also killed a beatle crawling on the wall.

I won’t ever stay here again and recommend you don’t

Room, though advertised at $58, topped out at $70 with taxes and fees. I'm in town for work and they're the 'cheapest' in Waynesboro, so I didn't have much choice. At first I thought it was ok, maybe worth something in the range of $40 a night, but it's not like I can negotiate.

So I've been here 3 nights, and finally found a more long-term place to stay. I started pulling off the sheets and blankets to save the housekeeper some time, when I found a large brown stain about the size of a grapefruit. I took pictures. I showed them to the owner and the woman working the night shift in the office, and they balked and offered a paltry 1 night's refund. I've been sleeping in someone else's filth for 3 days!! I didn't ask for a full refund, but at least 2 nights would have been something. I paid over $200 for 3 nights, and I've been sleeping in a dirty bed.

Also, wifi may be 'free' but it is spotty and slow at best.

Stay away!!! Go somewhere else!!!!!!!

Disgusting and overpriced

Having to be in the area of Augusta during the Masters and having to visit this area for a funeral, this was the only place available at a cost of $121.  We had a gap under the door of 1 1/2" that any critter could slither in to our room.  The bathtub was rusty looking because it was so old. No way I would have stood barefooted in that tub.  It was noisy from all the workhands coming in for the night.  I had to put two pillows together to make one pillow and it was still very flat.  The mattress was so soft that I all but disappeared.  The towels were completely worn out.  I don't usually complain and I'm definitely not high maintenance but this place was AWFUL.  The one positive was the girl in the office was very sweet and kind.

I would spend the night in my car before staying here again.

The place is a joke can't get extra towels didn't replace toilet paper, the cleaning people leave you door wide open when cleaning the room and leave to wash the sheets so your room is wide open for anyone to steal anything you have, cops have been here 3 times this week. I'll never stay here again.

Dump

I stayed for one month while working at the Vogtle nuclear plant (21 miles away). The location appears to be in a very safe area and I never saw anything to be considered a security concern. This is an older motel, but it was kept up nicely. The room was clean and comfortable and included a nice sized TV, free WiFi, microwave and refrigerator (no freezer). One surprise was that it did not have a closet or any place to hang clothes. Housekeeping was friendly and did a great job, but there was no housekeeping services in the evening (I was working the night shift). The owner seemed rude as he never smiled or said thank you and rarely spoke, but he did give me break on the room after being there a couple of weeks. If I return to the plant again I will probably stay here again.
