Beautiful BnB literally in the heart of Gettysburg, PA.  Very nice rooms, comfy beds and a great breakfast.  There is so much history, right here.  Imagine 1,000s of troops of both sides walking down the street, shooting at each other and firing cannons.

A charming, comfortable and historically interesting accommodation that is well maintained. It is strategically located with respect to the town center, popular eateries, the battlefield and Gettysburg College. Many desirable destinations are readily walkable.

A splendid getaway

We loved our stay! Super convenient location and easy to walk everywhere. The Inn is beautiful and was really quiet, even for NYE. The only minor "issue" was booking through a third party. It was a bit of a hassle to get the key code, as the booking site couldn't provide that. I had to call the management company to obtain this and they seemed a little put off with my calls. But....the Inn itself and staff were fantastic!! I highly recommend staying here. :)

Our top picks for food & beverages: Ploughman Cidery (cool vibe, knowledgeable & friendly staff), Sign of the Buck (yummy brunch & cocktails), Adams Co Winery (amazing staff! Jen the manager was helpful in recommendations) , Dobbin House Tavern (cool atmosphere and delicious Onion Soup!), Garryowen Irish Pub (We ate upstairs where there was no wait time- Kelsey was a fantastic bar hostess and food was delicious)... overall a really great weekend!!!

Fantastic Inn; great location

We did a ghost hunt with Silver, and it was such a wonderful and fun experience! Silver enlightened us with historical and spiritual knowledge and some memories and moments that will last a lifetime!

This is the place to stay when in Gettysburg. Centrally located and within walking distance to everything in town. Awesome staff that is eager to please. Cozy comfortable rooms. Delicious filling breakfast. This beautiful historic home is a time capsule that will add to your Gettysburg experience.

Top rated bed and breakfast in Gettysburg

My wife and I stayed at Brickhouse Inn for two nights and really enjoyed the stay. 

Room:
The conditions of the rooms were wonderful. We stayed in the South Carolina room and loved the decor and bed. The only suggestion there would be to provide some type of step up to the beds as they are high enough to make it challenging to get up and out of. The ability to heat/cool the room from remote was a plus and we found it very comfortable, clean, and quiet.

Public Spaces:
We really enjoyed the twin parlors and being able to get coffee late in the evening and sit there. The cozy atmosphere created is a definite plus! We loved that. I was impressed by how well the coffee area was set up during the ‘after’ hours with a cookie plate and just think you all have done a great job with that.

Breakfast:
One of the highlights! The staff was so fun to deal with and it felt like a big family. Melanie, Kathy, Johanna, and Paige were amazing! They achieved the right blend of interaction and giving us space to enjoy our meals (typically this not a skill in other bed & breakfasts we have stayed at) so again, great job ladies! The quality of the food was a definite plus and the ‘courses’ were an additional treat along with coffee and orange juice provided at the table; again we love that!

Parking:
We found the parking to be well set up and convenient to the property. Well done.

Outside areas:
The temperature was too cold for us to sit in back or to enjoy the front porch but it all looks well organized and accessible. 

Location and historical setting:
One of the highlights of staying here is the location - right in the middle of all the action and easy walking distance to dinner, museums, shops etc. A wonderful surprise.

Summary:
You have all done such a great job in the running of the Brickhouse Inn. The formula of how you have things set up (we loved the gift shop and bought a mug) and the chemistry of your employees made this a wonderful visit. Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t change a thing. We will definitely be back and are already planning our next visit.

A Must Stay Location in the heart of downtown Gettysburgh!

Excellent stay, with a great breakfast in the morning! Nice and quiet at night, with no disturbances. Easy access. Room was very clean, as well as the bathroom. Everything was furnished nicely. Very much would recommend!

Loved It!

I spent 4 nights in early February in the New York Room on the third floor of the Victorian.  For one thing, the location can't be beat.  I could walk to the National Cemetery or to the Farnsworth House, or to the Dobbin House.  For another, it's got its own parking lot, which is fantastic.  The house itself was immaculate.  Everything was super clean.  I had plenty of space, and the view from the third floor overlooked Baltimore Street.  There was a key pad to enter the house, which worked like a charm.  I slept better there than in my own home.  I had breakfast each morning, and every day it was delicious.  The staff were friendly and welcoming; I felt right at home.  I would definitely stay there again.  However, I do wish they would do away with the motion-censor lights in the dining area.  I kept having to get up during breakfast and wave my arms to get the lights to go back on.  Maybe it's me, but perhaps Victorian homes on historic Baltimore Street in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania don't need anything more complicated than simple light switches.

My wife and I had a great time in Gettysburg and our stay at the Brickhouse Inn.  The staff was friendly and always helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.  We had the stuffed pancakes for breakfast and they were fantastic!  Highly recommended.

A great stay in the heart of Gettysburg

I would really recommend the Brickhouse Inn to anybody planning a trip to Gettysburg! It was an easy walk for us to different restaurants and the town. The rooms are clean, cozy and well-decorated. The staff was so amazing and welcoming they even helped us plan some things to do in town. Breakfast was DELICIOUS! This was the perfect place to stay!
