This was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed! If I wasn’t so tired I would have went somewhere else. Not even the actual stains on the sheets that bothered me, it was the actual dried up food on the sheets and floor. But if a hotel wants to keep using stained sheets they need to pick another color other than white! And it’s right off the main road but it has 3 different names. Sorry the only picture I took was after we hurried and left. 

DIRTY!

First of all, the photos advertising this property are not at all even close to what the place really looks like. Its basically an old knights inn drive up to your room door, strip of about 15 rooms. Much like the ones your see in the horror films. When I arrived there was no one at the window you have to go to and ring a bell to check in, so I had to call hotels.com and see if they could figure out if anyone decided to go to work that day to check me in. After 45 minutes and a 2 hour drive I got to walk into the most pathetic, disgusting, too scared to even sit on the bed type of room. There was no phone in the room to even call the front desk to complain, the fire alarm was just laying on the dirty dresser with the battery taken out of it. Don't even get me started on the curtains. There was a HUGE gap in between the wall and ac unit so people could easily and unexpectedly look directly into your room and see more than you could possibly imagine. I stuffed the gaps with some magazines and  coloring books. There was an additional lamp also that seemed as if it were there to just hold up that side of the wall since it was very out of place. No fridge, no microwave, no phone, the remote for the tv did not work. The list goes on and on. I never leave reviews unless I am just blown away by the entire guest experience staying at a hotel. This is my first negative review to ever leave, and its because of how shockingly disturbed I was by this experience. Oh, did I mention I was given no return of my money since I couldn't even sleep there, which I never have felt the need to ask for at a hotel by the way...and was told NO because I did not bring these issues up with management while I was there. Remember at the beginning of my review how we had to contact the company we booked through to see if they could reach someone at the hotel to check me in since no one came to the front desk for 45 minutes or more? And how there was no phone in my room, and no where online could I find the direct number to this property to contact a staff member of this property even if I wanted to or if there were an emergency. I believe I explained enough at this point to warn you of the disappointment and frustration and loss of money during already hard times with covid19 going on to advice you to book somewhere else. Thank you.

ABSOLUTE WORST

My inlaw drove all the way from Kentucky and got to this hotel around 3am. She was told that someone would be there to let her in and all she had to do is ring the bell. It is now 9:00 am and no one has answerd the door or their phones.  The outside of this hotel looks completely run down and dirty. Thankfully she was able to find another room down the road. Dont waste your time or money trying to come to this place.

TERRIBLE CUTOMER SERVICE

My went to Giddings for a funeral. We got to Giddings late, We checked in and checked the bed. Sheets dirty, and no remote and a mice running around. She young lady was very rude, Giddings otherwise was great. Don't go there. Spend that extra ten dollars and go to another place. Hurt theyre pockets if theyre going to be rude .

If the room hadn't been donated, there would have been no way that I would have stopped here. This motel is a disgrace to the Wyndham Rewards program. Here is another example of a member of the AAHA buying their way into a motel program. The office was filthy and cluttered with junk. Insect turds on top of the counter. The motel outside was filthy and needed repainting. Too much furniture in the small room. Two beds and one of the beds was in the way of the bathroom door.  Moving the bed out of the way only opens the bathroom door halfway. I had to move the table lamps around to find one that worked. Found trash behind the beds and other furniture. The floor hasn't been properly mopped. Will not step into the bathroom stall. Found insect turds between the bedspread and sheets, I'll be using my sleeping bag tonight. A train is less than a half block away. The sign says that there will be a continental breakfast but this is a joke and a lie. No convenience store or restaurants close by. There are several better motels on the East side of town on US 270.

Run Away!!!

I had two nighs booked in October 2014 as I was looking for a cheap and cheerful place to sleep for a couple of nights. My standards are not high in the slightest but this is the first place I've booked that I just flatly refused to stay in. The motel is very dated. The room itself was passable but there was no hot water and the towels were filthy. I had flies buzzing around my room.

Also, it looked like there were families staying there on a more permanent basis and there were screaming kids and loud music blaring.

I stayed for 15 minutes and promptly checked in elsewhere.

Didn't even stay

This is the worst place you can stay.  The rooms are filthy, bugs in the shower. The bed probably had not been changed ever.  The floor was dirty and at 3:00 in the morning woman knocked on my door wanting money.  DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!!

Sherry E.The office had dead bugs on the floor and a cracked window. The parking lot had a  junk car up on jacks and an old dryer out front. There were dead bugs in the room . The linen was on the floor and the headboard of the bed looked to be covered in nicotine. I left so fast I didn't even ask for my money back.This motel should be shut down for among other things saftey & health issues.Sherry E.
