DO NOT BOOK A ROOM OR STAY HERE!! The place is trashy, filthy, staff are RUDE, scary 'customers'. The hotel/Booking.com will not refund my money for 2 nites that I did not stay - $384.50! I wrote letters and they won't respond.

WORST EVER

I have my Travel and Hospitality Degree.
The woman working at the frount desk on Tuesday September 13th 2022 @ 3:00 pm was not only on her cell phone but useing the company phone handeling personal dealings. 2 weeks ago I had paid and ordered the paint for my car from the Hyundai Dealership Next Door to your motel. The dealership was doing parking lot construction so I had pulled into the parking lot of your business and parked my car and walked into the frount office to ask if i could park my car in the parking lot long anuff for me to run next door and pick up the paint i already had ordered and paid for and was ready for me to pick it up and if its any inconvenience I would be more the happy to pay $30 to park my car for only 5 mins. The lady rolled her eyes and rudely huffed and puffed and said and I Quote " Im on the phone and no get lost get out of hear leave you cant go now i have more important things im doing. " and Quote ... Never have i ever be treated so rude and disrespectful by a employee of any kind from any company and I work as the Manager at the Downtown Portland Hilton Never would I ever consiter talking to any customer or none customer in that manner. Im 100% awear you are a franchise and i will be emailing and calling corporate and notifying them of what happened and includeing a copy of this email in the email im sending them.

Rude Disrespectful Employee

Over priced, over rated, over done.Go to subway if you want a real sandwich. I won't go this place    again. I had to wait for the longest time, even though it wasn't that crowded. My sandwich was dry and not that good. Honestly , I have had better at subway. Go somewhere else!

Sucks

Old run down motel with what looks like lots of "full-time" residents. Looks decent from the street but the people milling around in the lot and in front of there rooms makes it kind of creepy. Desk clerk was accommodating to my special needs but there are better low cost motels down the road.

Creepy Place

For what i need it for a sleeping room,was good.There were a lot good restaurants a short drive away.I found the staff helpful and more than willing to fix any problems.Did not take much nightlife as this was a working trip but there a number of bars and pubs within walking distance

Not Bad

Booked two nights there. Gladstone is a nice small town near the river and close to some places we wanted to visit. The location looked ideal on the map and the price was the lowest. I took a risk and paid for it online. When I drove up to the parking lot there were clusters of people standing around. They looked like homeless people. I pulled into the parking space and saw the people staring at us. From the looks of the place there was a reason the price was the lowest. Older hotel. Lacked painting and Many room doors were left open. My wife did not want to stay there so we forfeited our two nights stay. Our online booking was not refundable.

I should have looked up previous reviews as they reflected my experience. I wish I took a picture of the people standing around in the parking lot. You would know how we felt.

Did not feel secure staying here.

This place should be condemned... It was filthy, in every aspect.  Carpets old, worn and in need of being replaced.  Tile in bathroom cracked and loose.  the electrical outlets are either extremely lohappy se or non-working... Fire alarms ripped off the wall and just hanging there.... And the color of the rooms are dark, red.  No decorations or anything comfy..  Beds extremely old and worn... And did I mention the place was filthy...  Half of the place is used for weekly rentals, paid for by the state..   People loitering around day and night...  To top things off, house keeping does not do a daily pick up and refresh towels and linens.. You have to exchange them at the front desk... However, someone will enter your room and take your medication...  Mine was taken, and I am sure they thought they were getting Vicodin... Jokes on them it was an antibiotic...  I reported it, but my guess nothing will be done... This place needs to be shut down forever..... I will say that the young man at the front desk was very polite and did his best to be accommodating... Manager was also nice and did the best she could with what is there.... Take my advice RUN FAST!  Find somewhere else to stay... You'll be glad that you did!   If there had been any other places available, I would have never stayed ... It was worse than that bad...
