Perhaps this motels is under new management...the room was clean and well appointed, the clerk at the desk willingly gave me additional towels, and they provided a free breakfast (not offered much since Covid). The pool water looked clear and inviting (although I didn't try it so I don't know what the temperature was like), and the grounds seemed well maintained. It was easy walking distance to restaurants (although I don't recommend the Cancun restaurant next door).

Nice room but a slight odor

Avoid this place….First off this motel is rundown, but every other place was booked. Attempted to check in staff was incredibly rude. We attempted to pay with credit card and the clerk said she also required $100 in cash for incidentals. We said that’s why we pay with a credit card, she said no she also required $100 in cash on top of that. Obviously a scam, as no hotel I’ve ever stayed at requires cash upon a credit card on file. We declined the room and found the Hilton in Cave City which is much nicer and new.

Clerk tried to steal $$$

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel, only decided to stay there after calling ahead and being told that they provided a reduced breakfast for guests.  First morning went to lobby for breakfast and was told that they had coffee, but "nothing else because they had done run out".  So for 2 days, after being told there was a limited breakfast, there was not one and nothing was done about it.  

Upon checking in I provided a company card to pay for the stay and explained that the card used to guarantee the reservation needed to be changed.  This took the desk clerk 20 minutes to figure out, where at other hotels it might take 2 minutes.  Well the hotel went ahead and charged both my credit cards and upon calling them I was told that they couldn't do anything about that, that I would have to try and reach the manager.  

So all of this I had going for me during and after the stay.  The property is loud and basically shabby, with not much interest in helping guests.  I do not believe you even get what you pay for at this place, there are probably better options.  Avoid staying here.

Very poor uncaring service

I've stayed at this motel several times, and while it is not the greatest, the staff was at least friendly and accommodating until last night. I always ask for extra towels wherever I travel and I was refused then for the first time ever. Thus quality inn has changed their policy and will not allow guests to have extra towels. They also failed to inform me when I made the reservation that a credit card would be needed for incidentals, and I do not carry a credit card. I will never stay at this hotel again.  The days in next to them is EXTREMELY polite, accomodating, and slightly cleane. I recommend the days inn!

Refused to give me towels

The breakfast was just okay ... the fresh fruit didn’t look so fresh, not much of a bread choice, 2 kinds of cereal, instant oatmeal, pancakes, eggs, and sausage.  The rooms were roomy enough and the beds were comfortable, but the grout in the bathroom needed some serious freshening up and the room wasn’t as clean as we like (hair in the sink, etc).  The parking lot and the walkways around the place needed some freshening up as well.  That said, when you consider the price, it was still a good deal.

You get what you pay for

We needed a hotel and found this gem. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The price was right too! If we ever need a room in Glasgow we will definitely be staying here. The pool was nice too.

Friendly front desk

Our stay was pleasant enough.   Room was pretty clean.  Dust in corners and small things like that.  Beds were comfortable.  Breakfast was about what you would expect.  One drawback was that room I was in smelled like cigarettes.  Not sure if others are like this.  

2.5 star motel

Interesting lay-out as the doors all open to the outside. The room I was assigned had no parking spaces laid out anywhere near it so I still had to haul my bags quite aways. The room was clean and neat. Somewhat dated in decor but very good quality for a basic roadside style hotel. The room darkening curtains were ineffective which is often the case in these hotels. I marvel at why someone hasn't figured out a solution for that. Light leaked in around the curtain edges from the klieg lights outside all night long. A previous guest had used tape to minimize that problem. The tape was still hanging from the drapes which was quite a miss by housekeeping. And sadly, the sticky part wasn't useful anymore so I had to put up with the brilliant light leakage but I may pack a roll of tape on my next trip. Good idea! My room was very near the main entrance and guests just stood outside that door and smoked. Blech! Fortunately, they all eventually went to bed and the air freshened up again. All that said, there was really good lighting in the room - poor lighting is one of my pet peeves and will bring my reviews down a star. The mattress was firm but comfy with lots of pillows. The walls were a bit thin so I could hear everything in the room next door. Every word spoken. Every, everything. I wear super effective ear plugs when I go to sleep for that very reason. The hotel staff were very nice and I had a good stay overall.

Nice basic roadside hotel - clean - breakfast included.

We stayed here on our way home from Spring Break. Booked off of hotels.com for two queen beds as we have 2 teenage sons. When we checked in and got to our room we had 2 double beds which were barely big enough for my husband and I. When I called down to the front desk to ask about the beds I was told there was an issue with their booking software saying there were too many people for a two queen bed room, pretty sure they just gave our room to someone else. I asked if there was a rate difference and was told no but when I looked on the website, indeed there is a difference! I was not offered a discount or anything. Luckily we had air mattresses and extra bedding in our vehicle for one of our sons. The room appeared clean at first but when I went in the bathroom the floor was dirty and the tub was very dingy looking. There was a musty odor in the room also. The hotel also needs some updates, it is very dated. The doors to the rooms open to outside and are not enclosed in a building like most hotels. 

Not what was represented at all

The hotel was nice, clean and off the main road. It was convenient to the city but in the middle of it. The staff and services were good. We stopped in Glasgow t o house hunt and the location of this hotel made that task easy.
