DO NOT STAY HERE!  Claims reservations can be checked in at 3 pm. Arrived but the office was locked. The employee inside motioned us to the side window in the driveway, in the cold rain. Told us he could not check us in because the owner was not present and would not be back for 30 minutes. We had places to be and needed a shower so we left. The owner charged us for canceling the reservation even though the location was not ready to check us in. Contacted the location but they insisted on charging me a cancelation fee. WILL NOT STAY HERE IN THE FUTURE BECAUSE OF IT!

DO NOT STAY AT THE (NOT) SWEET BREEZE INN AT GRANTS PASS!!

The owner is a crazed, angry, bitter, supercilious person from "overseas." He will yell at you; he will threaten you; he will try to charge you for being 10 minutes past checkout time. He has even called the police on guests in the past. Everything at this hotel is decorated in second-hand Middle Eastern decor; everything is worn out, broken, dirty & substandard. Pay a few dollars more per night and keep on driving.... there are a dozen other, much, much nicer properties in Grants Pass just a few hundred feet beyond this dump.

BEWARE!!! --And keep on driving.

1st, room door was wide open when we got there, for was dirty (see photo), towels were dirty (had to ask for new ones), and out toilet came pre-clogged. When asking the hotel to fix it, some black plastic came out (no idea what it was). Then was told it was fixed, it was not. I told the owner that the toilet was not fixed, he said it was (it would fill completely up, then drain slowly). I said that is not how a toilet is supposed to flush. He then said “Check out if you don’t like” and walked away. I literally had to chase him down to “try” to solve the problem. There was no trying here. I asked for a different room, nope, fully booked (yet you could book a room online), just check out was his solution. No refund either…

Went to another hotel who laughed and said they have a reputation around town…

For a Motel 6 class - priced hotel this one was pretty nice and clean.  The proprietors were very nice and even knocked 20 bucks off the rate when they heard we were bumped from the Travelodge up the street at the last moment because they had overbooked.

Surprisingly Nice for a basic, inexpensive hotel!

This was my first stop on a 3,500 mile solo trip and my last stop before returning home.  After driving 450 miles I spotted Sweet Breeze Inn.  What a surprise.  Comfort, welcoming room decor, and a congenial host made it a highlight of my many stops

Unexpected  Treasure for Weary Travelers

I have stayed in multiple motels in Grants Pass and this was by far my favorite!! The check in process was quick and smooth, the staff was very friendly and the room was wonderful! I was quite impressed by the high level of cleanliness and the wonderful decorations of the room. An all around great experience and definitely the place I will stay whenever I'm in Grants Pass!!

People who ran this place were very nice and helpful.
The room had fresh linens on the beds and in the bathroom.
The. Floor was  Disgusting. Carpet was so bad we made our kids were slippers at all time

Worst possible choice to stay in Grants Pass. The place is a dirty, moldy, poorly-maintained flophouse.

Worse, the owner is a completely unreasonable & very angry all the time. Check Yelp to read bout his threats to rape a guest’s wife. 

He yells at guests. 

He called my room at 11:01 am & tried to tell me to vacate the room immediately. He tried to charge me $20 because I wasn’t out at 11:02am.(I had made arrangements with my booking app to stay late, due to an important phone call I had to be involved with).  I had to get VISA involved to cancel that attempt on his part.

The hairdryer in my room was a fire & electrocution hazard (see photos). He refused to give me a different one. “ You are getting vut you paid for,” he shouted at me.

Everything is run down, worn, dirty. Plenty of mold in the bathroom. The shower diverter valve came off in my hand. The owner yelled at ME for that… “You break my hotel", he shouted. --I won't forget that accusation any time soon.

You would regret staying here. Dirty, dirty, dirty, & moldy, moldy moldy. There are much nicer places to stay nearby in Grants Pass., without the yelling & accusations.

Absolutely horrific. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Older, dirty and permanent residents live here. Tv remotes don't work.  Dusty and bedding did not look clean.  Would not stay here again. Pictures fo not accurately represent.  Definately NOT worth the money.

I stayed here 2 nights in July. Visiting family, I’ll be back and I’ll stay again. Had a room facing the main drag and it was surprisingly quiet. Incredibly comfortable bed, really clean room. Had a bit of trouble figuring out the TV, but that was probably the worst of the stay. No pool, no breakfast, but lots of food options closeby (Black Bear Diner is great!)
