Horrible stay.  I travel to this area twice a month to have visitation with my children.  I have stayed at this hotel since it opened.  The current ownership is taking it downhill at a tremendous rate.  It is not clean.  It is not safe.  And customer service is a foreign concept to the guy that is the combo owner/front desk person/ room cleaner.  

Safety - the doors to not latch properly.  Some won’t even close at all without reinserting the card.  The lobby is rarely accessible and transactions are done at a side window 

Cleanliness - there was a roach in my shower on arrival and someone else’s underclothes mixed in the bedsheets.  

The driveway is rough and has tremendous damage that will hurt any non-lifted vehicle. 

Breakfast and daily room attention does not exist.  COVID is blamed but it’s really to save money.  The same misspelled sign has been taped to the closed lobby glass door for nearly three years now. 

Final straw was customer service.  I was told that  if you don’t CALL directly and book with them, they dgaf what you reserved with Expedia or other service.  It will not be honored.  Even if you have stage 3 lung cancer, reserved a non-smoking room and are “given” a smoking room.  

Stay in Clinton.  Stay in Conway.  Maybe the next owner(s) will care to offer a nice stay

Very dirty. Smelled musty. The main complaint was how poor the ac unit functioned. We could never figure out how to keep it cool without the room getting humid and moist. Our bed was literally damp with moisture because of how humid the room was. We had to open the door multiple times to air it out. We also had something disgusting and crusty on the underside of our comforter. Looked like feces or something. Every time we tried to call/go speak to the manager he wasn’t helpful in the slightest and would even question us. He argued with me when I asked if we could have a different comforter that was clean. We have stayed in many places and are not picky people, but this place was just gross and we will never stay here again! Just drive an extra 15 minutes and stay in Conway. That’s what we will be doing in future

This place was disgusting!!

Our volleyball team stayed here during the state tournament. The rooms were clean, stocked, and beds comfy. There were no complaints about the rooms and would stay again. The temperature of the hot water was relaxing.

Happy Team

Hotel was decent enough. Seemed clean but only 1 out of 4 lightbulbs in bathroom worked so very hard to do make-up. That wasn’t really a big deal but customer service was terrible. They were VERY unfriendly. Do not count on breakfast. Orange juice and apple juice were basically water with a little flavoring. Absolutely undrinkable. Price was decent although was told two different prices. 

Only place

The manager, Ken, was very accommodating to us as our travel plans changed right at the "one day out" timing for cancellation. He did take care of us. We will definitely repay the accommodation when we travel back in the AR area!!

Wonderful guest service

My kids and I stayed here during the 2018 Ugly Gnome mountain bike race, which was about 15 minutes away. We got a 2 queen exterior 2nd story room #224 and we were happy with it. The beds were decent, the air was loud, but cooled the room, the shower was nice and hot and there was a working fridge & microwave. Considering that we could have camped, we appreciated these specific amenities and the convenience. We brought our own breakfast, so we did not try the free breakfast. The motel provided us with additional blankets when we requested it. The room was dated & dark, but seemed clean. The room had a slight musty smell, but it wasn’t unbearable & I’m sensitive to smells. We felt safe and the walls weren’t paper thin. The wifi was good and the TV had cable. The pool was closed. This is a reasonably price room, & it fit what one would expect from this price point. 

Close to Wooly Hollow State Park

Was down in Greenbrier, Arkansas with daughter, ,sister, and brother for funeral of a family member. Been going to Greenbrier, Arkansas for over 50 years. This Hilltop Inn was ok, the managers appear to be of Middle Eastern descent, just a guess. Religion possibly Muslim, again just a guess. The reason I state this and is important is I have never been served frozen sausage patties. I know their religion forbids the touching of pork, but microwaving sausage patties is disgusting.  I don't like paying money and not getting my money worth. Don't recommend this place. Don't like anybody possibly instilling their religious views on what I eat or belief  in. Arkansas is the Razorback state.

Funeral leave for family member

Thank you to Hotels.com for taking my money and never booking me and my family at the hotel we had a confirmation on!! We called them to dispute it and they said they would book us somewhere else which at that point we had no choice anyway. They book us here in Greenbrier which is 33 miles away from our original destination and this place was so untaken care of. The pool outside was green and looked like it had not been used in years. The rooms were ok, the beds were like sleeping in concrete, the bathroom floor tiles were coming up, and there were bugs on the floor all around the bathroom. My husband also found empty skoal cans under the mattresses of both beds while we were looking for one of my daughters toys. The staff was ok but u could tell they only give about 35% effort in keeping this place running. Will not ever be back!!!
