DO NOT STAY HERE - READ THE REVIEWS.  First room, DIRTY, went to put something in the fridge - NOT WORKING - went and asked for another room.  Next room, DIRTY and wrenched of smoke - third room (is a charm...) NOT - floor dirty, drawers dirty, ring stains on nightstands - chair missing a leg - old toothbrush left in bathroom cabinet - ok, are you ready for this....... porn magazines (yes, you read that right) and porn DVD's in the kitchen drawer - DISGUSTING!!  We grabbed our bags, dropped the key off - would have said something nasty to the guy at the desk but he was on the phone and clearly saw me but didn't acknowledge me so I left the key and off we went at midnight for a 2-hour ride home.   NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS PLAY - STAY AWAY

Do not stay! Two separate guests were given access keys to my room. I knew on booking this property I was not staying at the Ritz. I was expecting slightly run down and underwhelming. What I found was awful. When you pull in there are abandon cars on the property. Shopping carts on the sides of the rooms. Check in time online stated t2 when you arrived at the property it was 3. Stated there was a continental breakfast, there was not. They pictures online don’t look that good but they are way better than the property. I was allowed to check in for 2 o’clock went up to my room. The room was musty smelling. The toilet had green in it. The worst part of the stay was around 1030 someone tried to access my room with a key card. Opened up the door and they were told they were given the key at the front Desk. I thought oh what a mistake. Went back to sleep. At 12:30 somebody else tried to access my room. I went down to the front desk where they were two other couples demanding refunds and checking out. I asked to be guaranteed that nobody else would be giving a room key, they could not do that. I demanded a refund they told me I would have to check out. I checked out at 1 AM.  Days later the website that I booked through is still unable to contact this property for my refund.Do not stay here you have been warned.

The Inn wouldn't supply us with tissues. Check-in was 3 o'clock not 2, as stated. There was no continental breakfast. No alarm clock or radio was provided as their sign stated. empty beer cans were all over the property. It seemed to be an hourly inn

This hotel was so dirty and stetchy did not stay even one night as dud not feel safe and was refused refund.  Doors locks poor condition , burn stains on bedding.  Recommended staying anywhere but here while in Groton.

Graduation

I booked the room on booking.com. We checled in and saw saw room.  It was horrible. The smoke alarm was sitting on a table. There were rips in the chair. Trash was all over the floor under the bed. Ther know on the heater was missing. I ee the front desk and asked for a refund. I told him that we were unhappy with the room. After waiting a bit, I went to the reception area to get him. We walked to the room. He inspected the room and was rude.. He tried to imply we had used the room. Literally we had been there maybe 15 mins. Our bags were on the bed because I refused to set my belongings on the nasty carpet. He said he would refund me my money. The manager then got mad when I tried to take pics of the room.  He already had been rude and confrontational from the beginning. He didn't let us stay nor refund my money after I asked for a refund 15 mins after checking in. He told me I wouldn't get my money back. I told him the credit card company would handle it.

Avoid at all cost

My fiance an I have stayed here lots of times, The reviews given don't add up to me.  Never had a bad room an staff an all are exceptionally.  I highly recommend if ur on a budget,  better than the windsor up the street by far.  There is no breakfast due to covid an no coffee makers in the rooms, which i do miss my coffee.

This place wAs absolutely disgusting.  Bugs in the bed. Ceiling covered in brown wet tiles. The bothroom had old soap. I booked through booking.com and booked a day early by accident so i paid cash and asked to be cancel the next day through hotel and booking. Although i have a document that said i canceled it. Ive been on the phone for two weeks with both companys. Flagship told me they would reimburse me but never did. They also said i was a no show Never ever again

Unhappy

My ride left me and I have to wait for someone to pick me up and they weren't that close to come get me they live in Plainfield CT. They owners were rude because i have to stay in the lobby to wait. Like isn't that what is for i mean its not like i want to stay there that long. Most of the rooms has mold, crack windows, and so much drug activity. I'm sorry that place to be shut down

My recent visit to the Flagship Inn and Suites in Groton, Connecticut was like a nostalgic trip in time to the motels we stayed at during family vacations as a kid in the sixties!

As we arrived about 10 p.m. on a warm September night, I heard the excited voices of several children playing in the motel’s outdoor pool. Nowadays, it doesn’t seem like many people take time-out to enjoy the simple pleasures that motels have to offer.

The motel manager greeted us with a smile and was very pleasant to chat with. She told us about the free breakfast buffet as she gave me our digital room key. BTW, the breakfast included a variety of cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, muffins (which I combined the last three items to make my own version of an Egg McMuffin), coffee, milk, juice, toast and more.

While the room was nothing out of the ordinary, it was clean, comfortable and had a newly renovated bathroom.

An indication that a motel may be treating their guests well is a full parking lot. I walked around this two-story building and noticed that every parking space was occupied.

If you’re in the Groton, Connecticut area and need a budget motel, this one is worthy of your consideration.

Nostalgic trip in time to the motels of my childhood

This filthy disgusting die off of a so-called Hotel  is infested with bedbugs .  My fiancé found this insect in her bed and when attempting to confront the nonexistent manager for three days. We were accused of being liars, Even after providing physical and proof via photograph which I have enclosed.   Stay away from this dump!!!
