Condo 708. When we arrived there were nail clippings from the guest before us on the floor. Sand still everywhere. Fridge rusted. Couch was disgusting. We had to put a sheet on the couch to actually sit on it.  We had to wash all the bedding before use. Floor in bedroom not even finished. The table on the balcony was broken. The chairs to the  dinning table were all cracked and broken. The beds were absolutely horrible to sleep in they were like sleeping on the floor. The washer smells terrible. The shower wouldn’t drain. I would not recommend this condo!! Gross!

Won’t do it again

I recently stayed in Royal Palms 708 for 27 nights.  The condo was a huge disappointment and Brett/Robinson was a poor excuse for property management. I have been visiting Gulf Shores for forty years and have always loved my time there. I used Brett/Robinson for the first time to book this trip. The condo was in great need of repair.  The vertical blinds were falling apart and wouldn’t close, the refrigerator was rusted on the outside, part of the flooring was missing in one of the bedrooms, there was one broken down sofa and no other comfortable chairs to sit on, and the shower fixtures were disgusting. I spoke to someone seven different times about repairing the vertical blinds and no one ever came. I explained that I am a widowed female and really would like to close the blinds at night, but I spent 27 nights with the blinds open. I am appalled that Brett/Robinson is not a better management company. They apparently never inspect the condos they handle and don’t care what condition they’re in. This experience was a first and last—I’ll NEVER use Brett/Robinson again!!

Poor Property Management

The unit we stayed in was nice.  The location was good.  We set our chairs in a storeage area because we forgot our car keys in the room.  Came back and chairs were gone.  Never expected vacationing families to be thieves.  Now I know.

Chairs stolen

We stayed in unit 303. The clock was not working in the kitchen,  They said there would be a roll of paper towels and laundry detergent to wash their towels before we left but, there was not any, the TV in the bedroom did not work, the light stayed on in the one bedroom along with the fan. We could not have just the fan on at night.Right before we left we found a remote that controlled it. We should have been told about it., the ice maker made very little ice.  We were disapointed and will not go back to that unit.

We stayed at Royal Palms in room 304. We had great views from the balcony and easy access to the beach. We were far enough away from the public beach that the beach wasn’t very crowded. The condo had one bedroom and two bathrooms. Checking in was simple and everything was very clean. Can’t wait to come back. 

Great Trip 

I enjoyed my mini vacay to Gulf Shores last week, but had to sleep on the couch all four nights. This unit is one bedroom, but the bed was like sleeping on a rock. There was no give to the mattress whatsoever. I've slept on a firm bed before, but this was extreme. The bunkbed was not any better. Thankfully, I was small enough to fit comfortably on the couch. Overall, this unit has a great view of the Gulf/beach. I liked the decor and it was very clean. Royal Palms is far enough away from the "tourist" traffic and I like that. I also enjoyed walking on the beach to the Gulf Shores State Park Pier every day. Please replace the hard as a rock mattress and I'll return to this condo again.

#1406 needs a new bed

Don’t stay here. They have a security guard that harasses the beach goers ON THE BEACH! Security guards have no jurisdiction on the beach and I confirmed with police and lifeguards. I never complain about things but the security was out of control. Totally illegal

Plenty of condos (that aren’t old and ran down) out there.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Staff was friendly and our room (305) was FANTASTIC. The beach was clean and so quiet and less busy than down the way. Pools were clean, no loud noise, and just down the road from orange beach. You can rent beach chairs and umbrella for 35 a day.

Great getaway

We stayed at Royal Palm 701 at Gulf Shores and it was great. Nice 2 bedroom and 2 baths. Right on the Gulf of Mexico. It’s right next to the State Park. It’s .9 miles from the Hang Out. A indoor pool and a outside pool. The condo was very nice on the inside. A king bed in the master bedroom with a bathroom attached with a big walk in closet. The master window looks out over the pier at the Park and you can lay in bed and watch the Sun come up. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the sofa makes out into bed and there is 2 twin beds in the hall. A very nice place

701 Condo

Clean condo. Great view. Sleeps 6. Indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub not the fanciest pools but 2 to choose from. Close to the pier. Beach in front not overly crowded. Saw dolphins every day. Clear water. Clean beach. We liked it
