I too also do not see how this motel got any positive reviews, it is very dirty and does smell like cigarettes and mildew.  I am a non smoker and really have a hard time smelling cigarette smoke. Bathroom was very dingy the place does look run down. I am staying one night because I'm on a remodel but will definitely be driving to and from home because I can not stay in a place like this. Very discusting. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Three separate reservations made on three separate phone calls by three separate people on differings but for the same night.  All three lost.  They had no idea.  Luckily we fpund the last three rooms in town otherwise would have had to go to Montrose.  Avoid this place!

Dirty, Smokey, Dump  
I don't like to write poor reviews but can't help it with the Season's Inn. They take no pride in their motel. They don't try. It appears they want longtime rentals where they do nothing and don't know how to handle short term rentals. They ruin it for other mom and pop motels. After staying here I would be hesitant to stay in a no brand name hotel again. I had rented 3 rooms for my son's college graduation for 2-3 nights.  The online ratings were good: 7.9/10 Booking.com, 3.5/ Trip Advisor, and 4.6/5 on Google. Not sure where these people stayed but not in the rooms we had. Due to the graduation there were no other rooms in town otherwise we would have left. 
On arrival there was an old, driven over stuffed animal and doll in the parking lot. Had a bad feeling from the start. Why not clean these objects up?  
Room #9 - We were told a longtime rental had just moved out but the room had been deep cleaned. They wanted to check it out before we went in. We came back later. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom and the bathroom light did not work. Moved to Room #6. The refrigerator had significant mold. Hubby offered to change light bulb in room #9 but as it turned out they knew it wasn't the light bulb and needed a repair man to come fix the light. Then why did you put us in that room??? So they exchanged the refrigerators. The pillows smelled and were very, very flat!. There were extremely large dust bunnies on the heat registers, that I quickly cleaned up.  The carpet was badly stained.  A few towels had black grease stains on them. 
 The grass in front of the rooms had just been partially cut and there was grass all over the entranceways into the rooms. I asked for a broom to sweep outside our door because the grass was being tracked into our room. They did not offer to sweep for me but gave me a broom and told me where I could return it. They said that the people who had cut the grass had run out of supplies. Made it sound like they were coming back to finish the job-they didn't. The next day I ended up sweeping up in front of all of our rooms because I didn't want the grandparents tracking the grass into their rooms and it didn't appear the lawn guys were coming back to finish the job, nor were the owners going to sweep up the grass or the numerous cigarette butts. 
Room #8 -Grandparents - screen on the window was ripped so they were unable to open the window to air it out or cool it off. There was an exposed carpet tack strip-OUCH! The lamp shades were so disgustingly dirty I wish I had a lint roller to clean it for my parents.
Room #7 -Grandparents no towels in the room on arrival. Last day the knob in the shower had a malfunction and they couldn't turn the water off and it was stuck on hot. When they called the office he was less than helpful. Letting them know there was hot coffee this morning. See below. 
The rooms all wreaked of smoke though they all say no smoking and there is a $150 fine for smoking in the rooms. The rooms were also very hot about 80 degrees, though the thermostats where turned all the way down. 
They did not do daily room service, nor do they mention that they don't do daily room service. When asked for new towels the ones we received were still wet.  We emptied our own garbage in the large outside garbage cans. Doubt they even clean between customers. One person we spoke to said that when he checked in his sheets hadn't been changed from the person before. GROSS!
Graduation Morning.   Office is to open at 0700 with Breakfast starting at 0700.  At 0705 several people waiting outside for them to open. They had rang the 2 different bells and no response.  At 0715 I went back to the room and called the office and they said they would be opening up soon. Which they did, but at 0735 there still was no coffee. Customers very unhappy! When the coffee did arrive it was gone in minutes and took a long time for another pot to arrive. 
I understand having a bad day or week but I saw no effort on these owners that they were trying.  
We had stayed in the Alpine Inn down the road in February and it is a great motel.

Dirty, Smokey, Dump

This property is VERY dog friendly and is located near a park. The staff was friendly and easy to work with.
On the downside, the room and bathroom were very dirty. Various types of debris and litter on the carpet. Long black hairs in the tub, and grime beyond description around the toilet.

Cleanliness issues

My friend, his dog and I arrived to this little place of rest because a few locals at the gas station and at the grocery store had said it was the best place to stay in town. We was greeted by the owner Stormi. She was super polite and awesome. She gave us a 2 bed dog friendly room for 58 dollars. Besides the gracious deal she let us use her BBQ grill to cook our steaks. That was so cool. Also on the day of our ski trip to crested butte she helped us get 20% of our ski rentals and even watched my buddies huskie dog while we skied the slopes. We met so many nice people at this motel. I wish I could give a million stars instead of five. If you are thinking about going some place else. Think again. Your going to miss a wonderful experience if you stay somewhere else. Ill be coming back in the next few weeks and Im staying here. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
