Dear hotel owner / manager, 
If I have Covid, it’s because of you. You have a responsibility to keep your visitors safe and comfortable. Truth be told, the bed was comfortable, but I slept knowing that I was putting my health in your hands and you didn’t deserve it. Your rooms and grounds are filthy, filthy, filthy, and you know it. For years you have replied to reviews here, saying you’ll tell your “housekeeping staff right away”. You should fire your cleaning staff because they don’t know what they are doing or they are knowingly endangering your guests. To the person considering staying here: Consider this the sort of place where you’d go if there is no other option aside from a shelter or sleeping on the street. You’ll likely find places that are better than this that cost less. We spent one night there when all other options were exhausted - unfortunately, there was a major concert at Hershey, so everything else was sold out. The room smelled of smoke and mildew, and the floor, bath, sink, counter, mirror, fridge were all visibly dirty (not just stained). To make the experience a little more bearable, I spent 20 minutes cleaning the bathroom, hence the picture of the dirty towels. 
I slept wearing a surgical mask.

room 122, bathroom good enough and comfortable beds but not sure that the beds had been made, no table, bad smell when entering, disgusting coffee maker it should have been soaked in the javex, no question of walking barefoot on the carpet, all for US $ 89 !! no thanks

There is no chance this place is worth of the regular $70/night cost it charges.  I have been forced to stay at this hotel for going on 13 yrs now and back when they had a pool they were semi-reasonable, happy to see a regular / return courteous guest but that is no longer the case. They could care less about common courtesy and quality customer service and if every single room is vacant on a Tuesday night - they will still up-charge you to $70 for no reason other than what I can assume is greed.  The Red Lion "rewards" program associated with America's "Best" is a joke and no reward can ever be earned by the commonplace traveler. If you don't HAVE to stay here, as I do, go up the road a mile to Days Inn and save yourself $20+ per night every time.

The room and bathroom were tight but fine. Had fridge and microwave, the linens and bed were not Hampton inn quality,  but fine.
Hvac unit was above average.
$110 for two narrow doubles 
Breakfast was above average for a motel , and it's hard to beat pulling up to your room versus running around inside. Staff was good -i think the owners 


Worth checking out 

Lawn not mowed for kids to play. No seating outside. Gazebo had 2 desk chairs only.  No way to plug tub to bath kids.  Nothing major, just a little inconvenient. Overall decent experience.  Clean but a little outdated other than the  bathroom. Would visit again knowing what to expect.  Staff were accommodating and very helpful.  

Budget friendly.

I was checking inn front Desk was very Polite and helpful to allocate my Room for comfort Stay....Because I have Knee problem for Moving In And Out....Very helpful for my Activities By Desk Clerk Moving and Carrying my Language and Breakfast....Rooms are very Clean.... T.V. Has All channel With Big Flat screen T.V....I would Stay Here again...….

Very Comfortable And Reasonable place

I chose this motel as it was reasonably priced via my airline travel account. Well I learned you get what you pay for and in future will not chose hotels/motels that are not well known. This motel is in need of some repairs. Old office chairs in the gazebo was not a pretty site. Our 1st room had a very musty smelling bathroom so I changed rooms the next morning for our 2nd night stay. I can say that there were nearby eating establishments and close to the river front walkway.

Lesson learned

Ended up canceling after  not being able to get into to second room after 5 times going back to the desk. The third time we went back and told the desk the key did NOT work she said try this room # , well the key opened that room but there was already someone in that room, when we went back and told her she said “no, I didn’t say that room, it should also open your original room #” . 

Most awful hotel experience- ended up canceling the rooms!

Front desk was the only good thing. Shower drain was partially plugged.  Bathroom has one dim light with no exhaust fan. Internet on 3rd floor was non existent. This is the first motel I have stayed at in a long time without wireless that works. If I was on business I would have demanded my money back.

Bad Stay

I expected the place to be a lot cleaner by the looks of the photos but needless to say that was deceiving. When we got to our room there were no bulbs in one of the lamps so we called the front desk, they brought bulbs to the door and handed them to us.. we put one in and it shattered. They just stared at us, I asked if they had a vacuum to clean it up, they went and got a vacuum and handed it to us also!! We cleaned up the glass and vacuumed ourselves! We were pretty skeeved out with how dirty the place seemed to be so we inspected the mattress and box spring for bugs, luckily there were none but there was a nice yellow stain and cigarette burns all through out the sheets. None of us wanted to sleep there, spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because it included breakfast; toast, mini muffins, waffle maker and coffee/juice. Nothing exceptional but held us over before hitting the road.
