Good spot to rest during long trip. Rooms are clean with great ventilation system. The only thing that wasn't great was the toilet. It needed to be manually shut off; the flapper wouldn't hold. So it would run water forever if you don't open tank and stick your hand down to push flapper closed. Price was quite fair too.

Great little motor inn

This was the first stop on a two week road-trip with two Labrador Retrievers. The Knight’s Inn was easy access from the highway, yet in a safe well-lit neighborhood. The desk clerk was friendly and  check-in quick. The room was exceptionally clean. The king bed comfy, but the pillows were lumpy and flat. We utilized the refrigerator and was thankful for the freezer on top. The microwave also came in handy. A non-carpeted floor was nice, especially with dogs. There was a large designated grassy area for “dogs” near our room. Unfortunately, few people picked-up after their dogs, even with a large dumpster nearby. The breakfast was self-serve and fine for a quick bite before hitting the road the next morning. If you are traveling with dogs, this is a great motel for an overnight stay. 

Clean, Safe, and Big Dog Friendly

Don't listen to the older negative reviews. Very clean, nice room.  No frills just a clean place to lay your head for the night.  Comfy bed and pillows.  Only negative was the room was freezing when we got there and took about an hour to warm up and the road noise overnight.  Would stay again.  

Nice and clean

The location was great for visiting friends in Lee's Summit and going to a concert in Kansas City. The room was recently updated. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. They even had one of those pancake making machines for breakfast.

Great Place outside of Kansas City

Our room was very nice.  Had totally been updated.  Everything was great.  Not much of a breakfast that we cared about and not much room in there area but serve our purpose.  Check in and out was fast and easy.  I would stay there again.

Stayover for trip to Branson

They didn't complete the remodeling in my room to quality standards.  The bed is bouncy when you sit down, but if you sleep on the bed you're going to wake up mad.  The breakfast in the 2 square foot lobby was sub-par.  The apples were going bad and the muffins were stale.  Just don't do it, even for the cheap price of the room.  Just pay the extra money and save your tires from the torn up parking area and your body from the horrible bed, old linens, and stale "free" food.

OOOOOOO  NO NO NO

Unfortunately if you're looking for somewhere to sleep this is not it. The mattress was honestly the hardest I've ever seen at a hotel. When I hit it with my hand it sounded like a thick cardboard box. At least the room was clean. They may call it an updated room however they skipped the mattress portion. It was kind of a small room. The furnishings were nice. I almost gave them 3 stars but due to what happened next they're only getting 1. Here's why: after cleaning up my vehicle and figuring out what needed to go in the room with me, I checked the room out and the first thing I looked at was the mattress. I gathered all my stuff back up including my food in the fridge then drove back to the office. She didn't want to give me a refund. She said I was gone for more than 5 minutes which means customers don't get a refund regardless what is wrong with the room. I had to argue with her. To make her feel better I let her know it was a clean room and it looks nice. Which is true it is a nice looking room. How ridiculous is this lady! They obviously didn't provide a room with a usable mattress yet she wanted to argue with me! Nobody should be sleeping on that mattress. She reluctantly made a phone call for about 2 minutes then finally told me she could give me a refund. I took a photo of me pushing my fist REAL hard into the mattress. As you can see it doesn't go down very far! A mattress should have SOME give. Maybe it's a damaged mattress and they didn't want to fix it. I think there is a piece of cardboard under the sheets but I don't know because I didn't want to take it apart.

Bad/Damaged Mattress

Recently renovated, nice and clean, only complaint is when we get in the room the air is off and it's at least 90 degrees and the air conditioning is not cooling it down very well. Room has hardwood floors, clean beds, good water pressure, microwave and refrigerator

Good rooms, bad air conditioner

This was a great decision for us. We moved across the country and this hotel was our first stop to get rest and eat. The staff was friendly, and even though there was renovations going on, we had a very nice room with a queen bed and 2 full beds. It was a great value for all of us being able to stay in one room. The other reviewers claimed there was no breakfast, but they had the basics which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend for it's value and service. Also it was very quiet and we slept well. Beds were a little firm but that's common for a hotel. Restaurants were close and easy to find, as was shopping. A+

Knights Inn Harrisonville MO

They have all new doors and carpet. Refridge has a freezer, new microwave. Bathroom impeccably clean with new tiles around the new tub. TV has Directtv. Wireless is good.for 55 dollars I would go back. Only 10$ for pets, and a large area to walk your pet.
