The place was dirty and poorly maintained. The room was worn and broken down. There wasn’t even a plastic cup so I could brush my teeth. The bed was comfortable but I didn’t even take off my socks or shower in the morning. I got up, put on my pants and left.

Don’t wate your money

Lets start from the beginning. Outside of the building was in not so good condition.  Needs cleaning and paint.  Sidewalk to the rooms was covered in a trail of sticky substance that never went away on our 3 day stay.  Once in the room, it was supposed to be nonsmoking but it was not.  Beds were different height with old covers that had cigarette burns in them.  Sheets were stained and had holes in them.  Pillows felt like two bags of cotton balls shoved in a pillow case.  Carpet stained. No trash can.  Used the sink to wash hands and water poured out of drain onto floor.  Reported to clerk and was offered a trash can to catch the water.  Bathroom door was covered in yellow goo and had a large hole in the back.  Shower was coated in mildew/mold.  Old TV with nonworking remote. No phones.  Wifi did not work.  Hotel advertises continental breakfast but that is not an option-we would not have eaten anything there.  If there were any other options other than sleeping in our car we would have never stayed.  Slept with lights on,  Bought cleaning products to be able to shower and went to walmart to use the bathroom.  Housekeeping came in and pulled covers up on bed. Did not take out trash and we had to ask to get towels but we were put on a list to get them when available.

Run away!

Sorry to write a bad review however when it needs to be done then you have to be honest. I was assigned a room here and when I opened the door it was beyond belief. No sheets/blankets on the beds only dirty mattress. There were four (4) one gallon BLEACH bottles on one bed. Empty or full I did not need to know! From there the room continued down. I do not feel that it needs explaining particulars of disgust. My money was refunded without question. Notified parent company owners of property.

1 - I arrived and was charged $49.99 instead of $44.99 (as per my reservation) but it was late and I was tired.

D - ** FILTHY (I Have Photos) Sheets & Pillowcases on Beds
E - TRASH UNDER BEDS & BEHIND BEDSIDE TABLE
F - CARPET FILTHY, With sticky spots and mud on it
G - BEDSIDE TABLE HAD STICKY SUBSTANCE ON IT

- The Manager States he's Only Been there for 4 Days, Doesn't Know HOW to do a Refund and the "Owners" are "On Vacation"

He did; however, "try" and make it "right" in providing linens, a clean trash can, a shower curtain, toilet paper, a working TV, a mini fridge a microwave and picked up SOME of the trash & provided me with ONE blanket.

Morning after no real sleep.... I go down to the Lobby for my "Continental Breakfast".... see the jugs empty (don't even look like juice has been in them).... Only coffee out.

I wait while a young man explains to the new Desk Clerk on Duty that his friend and/or roomie is not a bad person and sometimes even "good " people go to "jail" and he appreciates their understanding...then excuse myself to ask

"At what time did the Continental Breakfast End"

The Desk Clerk replied "Oh we don't serve a Continental Breakfast".

I replied "My reservation stated that you did.  It was one of the reasons that I chose this hotel.  Along with many of your other non-existing amenities.

***  Had difficulty getting WiFi to work.  Did not worry about it too much as my main goal was sleep so I gave up.  ***

AC worked fine.  Had been told a new unit had been put in that room.  It got so cold on LOW that I actually tried turning it to Low Heat.... this SET OFF THE SMOKE DETECTOR IN THE ROOM... Worrisome... Turning this back to AC and opening the door cleared that out; however, this does NOT appear to show any alarms at the Front Desk as no one checked on it (Fire Code Violation)

I would have called the front desk BUT THEY HAVE NO PHONES IN THEIR ROOMS... with my cell phone charging... WELL... God Help you in any True Emergency.

Don't Stay At the Knights Inn in Heath, Ohio.  The Bates Motel kept running through my head.

UNSAFE, FILTHY, NO TP, NO TOWELS, NO SHOWER CURTAIN, NO BLANKETS, NO MICRO OR FRIDGE, RUN AWAY!!!

We paid and went to our room, we have stayed in many beautiful Knights Inn but this hotel was completely filthy and disgusting...returned to desk and got our money back. From sinks that were layered in dirt to dead bugs in the room this was a sad decline in this hotel.
