The resort was dated but lovely. We were close enough to the attractions and shopping to be able to walk when we chose to do so. The trip down the river was enjoyable!

Lovely Loreley

Loreley is a nice, older resort right along the river.  Grounds were very nice.  All of the staff was pleasant and very helpful.

We had a great time in Helen and enjoyed restful nights at the resort.  We were out all during the days and very much enjoyed coming back to the resort for quiet and relaxing evenings.  Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.  We utilized the well equipped kitchen each morning before we headed out for the day.

Lovely resort and town

I loved the location to be right on the river with a porch view was beautiful. The nearby town is amazing to visit set up like something you would see in Germany. They had amazing German style food and beer. There is also a mountain roller coaster that you must try once super cool!!

Awesome stay!

We had a great visit to HELEN, despite rain and dreary weather.  This resort is very well maintained, and has a rustic mountain appeal. Everyone was very friendly.  The fireplace in the unit was very welcome this visit!

Great location

Loreley Resort is a great place to stay, offering a full kitchen and spacious accommodations. Resort was neat and clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It is close enough to walk to all of Helen's attractions.

Loreley Resort Helen, GA

Clean, quiet place that is impeccably maintained. Decks of some units being replaced, which shows Loreley takes care of its facilities.

After-hours security was very friendly and helped us check in after 9 PM. There was a basket of extra needed items in the unit--trash bags, tissues, toilet paper and dishwashing accessories.

Started out with plenty of towels. Mid-week swap was easy and met more friendly staff.

No in-unit laundry, but the laundry on site was only $1.50 to wash & 25¢ to dry.

What a lovely place--gas grills scattered about, indoor & outdoor pools... Tennis & basketball courts, a play ground, and lovely picnic pavilion by the Chattahoochee River!

We took advantage of the locked footbridge and discovered that if you're willing to walk, there's no need to pay $10 to park downtown.

We would love to plan a return visit to Loreley.

Clean, quiet, comfortable 

Overall a great 1BR unit with a balcony sleeping six.  Clean. Two full baths are small but adequate.  Would like to see an upgrade in bedding quality. Great condition, very well kept. Location is right in the heart of Helen.  We would definitely stay again.

Our Loreley  Helen Georgia Stay

This is our first visit to Lorely Resort in Helen. The staff here is very friendly (Dawn and Chris) and the cabin was very comfortable. We enjoyed using the indoor jacuzzi and dry sauna every morning. It is close to the many shops and restaurants in Helen. In the summer it is probably walking distance but it is December and cold so we drove into town and parked. We look forward to coming back in the summer and bringing some family with us. Highly recommend this location.

Visit to Helen, Lorely Resort

We had a great weekend staying here with the family.  We really enjoyed the scenery also. It need a few updates, but it’s a great place for the family. It’s not in the middle of Helen, but it’s still close to the water park and tubing. It was a quite a peaceful stay.
