This hotel will be great once the renovations are done. Great price in the same area as much more expensive choices. We didnt know it was in the middle of renovations until we already paid. That’s when we found out there was no breakfast either. No water during the day until the workers are done for the day. A little warning would have gone a long way. The walls are thin and people walking and talking at late hours could be heard through my earplugs. New sheets might do well since our room was brand new and I think we were the first ones to stay there. If you want a clean bed and a place to sleep for a good price. Just deal with all the other stuff and stay here.

Major renovations in January 2024

I was traveling and needed to stop overnight.  I saw this hotel on the map and thought it made a good stopping point.   Arrived after driving for 18 hours, otherwise I would not have stayed.  There were yellow stains all over the box spring, stains on the comforter, mildew on the pillowcases, lots of mold on the shower curtain, towels in the toilet.  In addition, they are renting out hotel rooms as apartments, so those were marked with chalk on the outside of the doors.  It was extremely sketchy and gross.  

Worst hotel I’ve stayed in, in quite some time

EVERYONE NEEDS TO AVOID THIS HOTEL! I booked it online which said that there was an indoor pool and free breakfast. Don't believe what is posted there.

As I checked in, I asked what time breakfast started and the manager answered that they no longer offer breakfast. I asked why and he gave a lame excuse about a big thunderstorm that caused major damage to their room which was leaking. I looked at the breakfast nook and it looked fine with no damage so I think this was just an excuse to save money. So I asked about coffee and he said that they don't serve coffee either. I asked if they are going to provide a voucher for a local restaurant and he said no, and looked surprised. I asked about getting a partial or full refund for all the things that were advertised and not provided. He said "yes" but I'd have to leave and find another hotel! I was raining outside so I was not about to do that.

As we walked from the parking lot to the room, I saw many Xs on other rooms' door so I suspect that they all had water damage and/or were unusable for other reasons. I was a little worried about someone breaking into our truck as it was one of only a few parked in the otherwise empty hotel lot. I also noticed dead bugs all over the floors, including in our room. 

The large beautiful fountain shown on the website had no water. The indoor pool was full but the gates to it were padlocked so I went and asked the manager if I needed a key to get into the pool and he said that it was closed.

Internet access was also an issue. First, I could not log in at all; kept getting timed out messages. So I walked to the front desk again and was able to log in there but the reach to our room made it weak. When I opened a website, it would open two URLs, neither of which was where I was trying to go. I felt strongly that their were internet security issues and logged out.

When I showed after my husband did, I had to stand in the water from his shower as the drain was almost completely clogged. The tub was 3/4 full after my shower. I also noticed the black mold on the shower curtain. Paint was peeling off the walls and their were ceiling tiles damaged. 

On the positive side, the TV reception was good so we didn't miss the World Series. 

I think that the photos used on their website are from better days. I suspect that this used to be a premiere hotel in past years but lack of maintenance has taken a toll. I would hope that the owner had insurance to cover the roof damage but, based on everything else, I suspect he couldn't afford it.

Final words - DON'T STAY HERE!!!

Avoid this Hotel - Badly Run Down, Pool Closed, No Breakfast, Bugs, Mold

Following the indifferent greeting from front desk staff, found room 140 at the back end of this rather aged property. You will immediately notice that investment in updates to the motel has not been a priority of ownership. Spent my first few minutes in the room ushering out a large grasshopper. Sitting at the desk, noted numerous crawlies joining me at my work. Toilet paper dispenser, upon use, fell from the wall. Room at the sink for setting toiletries is non-existent. In the morning, found to my joy, no shower curtain - thankfully, the shower itself worked. At checkout, front desk showed little interest in my reporting the absence of a shower curtain. Breakfast at this place was not at all inspiring - a collection of pre-packaged carbohydrates from the local Walmart. NOTE that there is a nice Braums immediately across the street if breakfast IS of interest to you.

While I give a two-star rating because the bed slept quite nicely, I have to wonder how this franchisee has managed to retain their relationship with Wyndham. I am thankful that I was travelling alone - if my spouse or others were with me, there would have been unhappy discussions about my decision-making on lodgings.

Yikes! Sleep in your car instead

Staff very friendly. Very close to restaurants and right off of the  highway. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Family friendly area. Close to gascstation. Close to market. Staff very helpful.  We are glad that we stayed at Days Inn. Reasonable/affordable price. 

Good nights rest.

Told the clerk I was staying for 5 days and he put me down for only one night. Didn't find out until my key card wouldn't work for my room. He said since my stuff was still in the room he charged for another night but I told him it was for 5 days. Went to get breakfast one day and it was waffles and a bowl of cereal.  Won't be staying here again. They did have a inside pool and 2 drink machines. 

Nope

No restroom in lobby, Dirty room had to buy cleaning supplies just to get it presentable. No heat in 14 degree weather.  Had to buy a portable heater.  Need better front desk service. Sink backed up and had to unclog it, full of hair and soap scum.

Bad experience at hotel

Breakfast was terrible, no milk or cold items in refrigerator and manager did nothing to find milk or make restitution for any items that were not available for breakfast. It was poor service. Never been so disappointed with a breakfast at a Days Inn, 

Poor Service

Very quite. We had an indoor facing room. Room clean, bed ready to get a good night's sleep in. Water hot, all amenities worked. Place did look like a ghost town and had seen better days. 2 star hotel fair call.

Over night stay

No TV or internet for 3 hours, then spotty internet, Pool was closed, and not publicized on the website. Staff beating on the door before 7:30 in the morning to clean the room, no do not disturb signs.
