We stayed over Easter with our family of five.  Our condo was booked through VRBO, and it was clean, updated, and a great size for our family; five stars for our condo.  The resort is dated and dirty.  The indoor pool area is filthy and so dated.  Could use a complete remodle. The outdoor spaces are better but aging.  There is a great board walk from the resort to the beach.  The outdoor pool space isn't big enough to accommodate the number of people at the resort. Each time we went, there were no lounge chairs and almost no space to sit on the ground.  Overall, my family had a wonderful time, we played tennis, enjoyed the beach, & swam in the outdoor pool.  I would probably not stay here again as there are better options on the island.  However,  with updates and cleaning, this could be a fantastic resort.  

Great Resort, but needs some major updates and a good clean

We loved Hilton Head Resort.  There are multiple buildings, each with varying amenities.  Our building had an indoor pool, hot tub, workout center, and a play fountain for kids.  Two other buildings have outdoor pools, one building has an outdoor gardens area, and the final building has tennis courts.  There is something for everyone here.  Beautiful property and we loved the area and the emphasis on the environment and care for nature.  

Awesome Property

Rented through Airbnb in building 3. Condo was well-kept as were the grounds. Didn't use many outdoor amenities as it was a bit chilly, but enjoy the indoor pool/hot tub in our building. Boardwalk over the marsh to the beach is well-maintained, and it was nice to have the storage space with beach equipment under building 1. Enjoyed our getaway.

Nice Quick Fall Getaway 

I first want to say that our room 3207 was very clean. Other than needing a few updates and the tiny bathrooms there was nothing wrong with our room. We rented the room through VRBO and the rooms have different owners so the cleanliness of this room may be different from others. The problem we had is with the "resort". It looked old and rundown. This place desperately needs a complete refurbishment. All common areas, hallway carpeting, and walls,  etc. were dirty and stained, with chipped paint. The place smelled. We made it a point to avoid the resort, other than our room. We will not stay there again due to the condition of the resort. If I could just rate our room I'd give it a 4 but the "resort" was just dirty and rundown. I was so ready to leave this place but the room was paid for so we stuck it out. Guess the condition of the resort is why our room was so cheap. As a whole, we didn't really enjoy our trip to Hilton Head, too busy for the relaxed vacation weekend we were looking for.

First and last stay here.

Great resort and  great villa #2423. Everything I need and we return often. Rented via airbnb and they are 5 star rated and super hosts. Each villa is owed and operated individually. The resort management teams has done a great job with the resort. Seasonal golf cart shuttle , cocos bar and grill on the beach and the island grill, deli and general store by the large outdoor pool.

Great time at #2423

Rented from an Air B and B.   The condo was ok.    The walls were dirty. 

We decided to get one drink at the poolside bar.  The bartender was making a drink for us  and he put his hand over my cup to empty the drink.  We asked him to make another drink which he did.   One of the bar patrons came up to our table to start a fight because we asked for another drink.    After we exchanged words with the patron her boyfriend to come down to start a fight with my husband.   The patron’s  boyfriend started a fight in the store and the manager threw my husband out of the store.   Be aware if you decide to stay here.  The clientele is less than desired at this “resort”.

Do not stay here.  Clientele starts fights with other patrons. Bartender unsanitary.

I rented a villa through Airnbn, my Super host was Sherry and Gary. Upon my arrival 7/18/22 my lining on both beds were filthy. Picture's were provided to the host. Sherry did send housekeeping to bring extra bedding. I told Sherry and housekeeping that we would put the sheets on our bed. We discussed compensation, however I was told that it would be reviewed after I checked out. I checked out on 7/23, and I was later told that because housekeeping brought me new lining that there wouldn't be any compensation. I would not rent from this host ever again. She actually tried to threathen me as well. I followed all guidelines as well as left the villa cleaner than it was when I arrived.

Hilton Head Resort Airbnb

We have stayed at the Hilton head resort Atleast 5 times. This time sad to say was not the best. Our condo 2123 was filthy. We had to clean before we could even settle in! The bed was awful! There was dust, sand, dirt everywhere. No vaccum, no garbage bags, missing light bulbs, stains all over the walls and mirrors. Crumbs all over the couch. The furniture ect was newer and nice. I think the problem here is the poor owner just hired a bad company to keep his condo clean.  I hope who ever owns it sees this. So sad honestly. Because if it wasn’t so dirty and not taking care of it would have Been a great place. The pools were nice and clean, the stairwells dirty and the doors slammed.

Eh think about it, unit 2123

We stayed in Building #2 (Yellow Building), until 2107.  The yellow building was quiet, but needed a lot of updates and maintenance - including fresh paint to cover the disgusting walls.  Our unit was clean, but the beds were hard with poor quality mattresses.  The sheets were fresh out of the package with the fold squares hard pressed.  The walls had old DISGUSTING, dirty paint.  Everything metal was rusted - kitchen hood vent, shower, bathroom vent, etc.  The unit still had popcorn ceilings.  Kitchen needed updated.
The resort itself was oddly quiet.  Hard to tell how to use the amenities, or what they were.  It’s at least 1/2-3/4 mile walk down wooden bridge to the beach.  We visited other beaches in Hilton Head and loved the resort beach area above the others.  The beach was worth the stay!

Great Beach, Great Beach Bar, 2.5 Star Apartment

Every villa is owned and operated by the condo owner. This villa was awesome. 3 total pools, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor which was perfect for rainy days. Short and fun walk to the beach across a saltwater marsh boardwalk. My kids loved seeing all the wildlife. At the end of the boardwalk is CoCos on the beach, for food ,fun , drinks and restrooms less than a minute from the beach.
