The motel is very old and worn.  Our room didn’t smell bad.  There was someone else’s plastic trash & a dead bug in the closet; black mold in the shower. . . The front of the furniture that the TV sat in was dusted while the back half was deep with dust. . . The hallway was not overly clean with dusty baseboards and carpet that could use vacuuming. . . Obviously the housekeeping staff need training and supervision.  The staff were friendly.  The motel is pet friendly—that why I upgraded it up to 2 stars.

Old and Worn; Poor Housekeeping

There was sketchy activity going on throughout the day and night.  Vehicles drive in and park. Driver never gets out, lady passenger does. Over a 2 day period, the same vehicle came multiple times, whereas the lady went into a different room each time.  Then there was the drug activity as well.

 As for the room, the recliner was directly in front of the sofa, and recliner was broke.  The handles on both, the sink and shower were loose and about to fall off.

Very scary place!

Sketchy!

This motel is the most ghetto motel we have ever stayed in, period. The location featured very sketchy activities going on in the parking lot all night. The room was like stepping back into 1970. The king bed in room 41 was broken, ripped & stained sheets, the TV was 13 inch, the bathroom tiles loaded with grime, cigarette burns on the sink area, toilet seat was broken, toilet paper roll holder was broken, nothing about this motel makes it fit to sleep in, our car was more comfortable.

That 70s Show

Rundown flooring , bath, bed, and some of the carpet.  It’s too Hot, a/c doesn’t get cool.  old sheets on one bed other bed makeshift box and frame that doesn’t fit very squeaky.  Only room left in town.   late on Fri night with funeral tomorrow or we would have left.  Old outdated bathroom.  Not looking forward to getting ready tomorrow for family funeral in nasty run down bath. If it was under $100.  I’d understand better. But over $150 with my discount is too much money for this lower quality room.

Rundown, Cant turn a/c cool

I got a room that had an outside door and inside door. No chain on the outside door, and the inside door was super heavy. The floors creaked,  The bathroom had hair all over it, didn't dare use it, paid 88.00 dollars. The pictures are old, it does not look anything like that now. I was there for work on a Thursday and partying all night. Tried to call the front desk and no answer. Run down.............amenities were minimal. No coffee in the room and very dirty.

Discusting!

We just moved to the area and we lost power in a storm. Thankfully America’s Best Value Inn had power and we were able to stay there. Nice/clean rooms, breakfast included, quiet and incredibly friendly staff! Thanks for providing us with such a nice room with air conditioning so we could have a great nights’ sleep!

Highly recommend!

So im going to save you the time this is the cheapest hotel in the town near Grand casino hinckley the service is impeccable the rooms are always clean housekeeping is very professional and kind i have been here long term but this is the only hotel that i recommend to anyone needing a place to stay

Best hotel this side of the mason dixon line

You couldn’t pay us to stay in this hotel again. I didn’t have high expectations as I knew it was a budget hotel. We got back from our concert around 11pm and laid down in bed and I couldn’t shake the smell of VOMIT all night. It was so late and I didn’t know if anyone would be in the office so I didn’t walk to the other building to complain. Sure enough, I check in the morning and there was vomit all over the side of the bed from a previous guest. I am so disgusted. I politely let guest services know at checkout and showed them the attached pictures and all they said was “okay”. When I say RUN, don’t walk from this place, run! Save the money.

Literal VOMIT on our bed.

No breakfast. No blankets on bed, only very thin bath blanket and sheet. Rooms antiquated. Both outer doors were propped open, and when brought to the attention of the desk clerk, he said that sometimes the door locks don't work. I told him if the key cards/door locks do not work,, they need to be repaired. He was correct, as when I attempted to use my room card key to get in through the outer door, the lock did not unlock until the 4th attempt. I did not feel safe here related to the lack of security, but we were extremely tired and needed to get off the road.

It was a bed

The constant factors and homely atmosphere found at this particular hotel puts most to shame and I found it hard to wrap things up and leave the hotel more than the town itself. But, sometimes business is business. Hotel usually ain't the casa, and when the bill says $6o, and you've got $40, they'll not be like Aunt Jackie or Mama Leslie and get shooed out to shovel snow. Sheesh, I proudly stuck by my convictions and dedication by ensuring you future guests of how homely this place actually is. Hope you're as comfortable as I was in my diamond in the rough hotel discovery. REMEMBER TO TELL BETH: "ZACH SENT ME!"
