My family and I were stranded in Hogansville for a few hours after our car broke down.  I think it was Bhupen that graciously let us stay in the lobby until our rental car arrived.   The lobby was neat and tidy.  We also went out to the pavilion they had built and hung out there for a bit.  It seemed like a pretty cool spot to hang out, grill, and watch a game outside. I want to give Bhupen a huge thanks for letting us hunker down with him in the lobby on that cold night!

Great hospitality

Just do not trust what you read online about this place it's all lies receptionist is very disrespectful and the wife of the owner is even more disrespectful can't lie the owner and sons are very generous and respectful but room service isn't good for overnight stays and the hotel isn't worth the asking price 

Don't trust the internet about this establishment 

I have never had an experience like I did at this hotel! The floors were dirty ,the towels were dirty, the bedding was from the 1980s, there wasn't enough shampoo,conditioner or soap! When we checked in I wanted to give the man my hilton rewards number but, i was informed that this hotel was not affiliated with Hilton hotels. How can they use a hilton hotel name and not be affiliated with them. I have enclosed pictures of the roaches on the bathroom counter and the dirty towels they expected us to use! Even if you are tired pass by this hotel!

Totally disgusting

i tried to use the bathroom maybe 15 minutes after unloading our stuff and found human poop all over the seat, i called the front desk and complained, they said there is no one from housekeeping, she was all alone  and I would have to clean it. i was so outraged, called back and a different person answered the phone. with same Indian accent, after threatening to leave they had a third person call me and two people came to my room and cleaned up the mess. this hotel is a family run business by a Indian family from India. it is my experience that culture is very filthy. The owner or Father of the hotel came to talk to me and said I made the mess on the toilet to get a free room, Now I was besides myself, insulted that they would blame me for the mess. i threatened to call health department and show them pictures of the mess and pictures of the family members cleaning the mess. he called the police, they came and believed me and explained they had several complaints from other people. The police officer also said please do not judge Hogensville by the character of the hotel owners and the issue we faced, it is not a picture of the townspeople.  we also found dead bugs and would never recommend this hotel

hotel one night stay

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! I was appalled! We went on a trip out of state and stayed the night here with our two small children. Our night was very interesting starting from the very beginning. I found a pin sticking out of the carpet, the room smelled of smoke, paint was chipping off the walls, there were exposed nails sticking out of the walls etc. Very hazardous place for small kids. After we tried going to sleep, some people began setting off firecrackers in the parking lot. This went on for some time. After they stopped, the people staying next to us had been drinking and decided to have a full on flight, screaming and cursing at each other outside. It became so crazy the police showed up to settle the dispute. My husband finally had enough and when to ask for a refund and wanted to leave. The lady at front desk informed him the the owner of the establishment does not give refunds to anyone. I would give this place a zero if I could.

The hotel is cheap however it’s nasty... we placed a do not disturb on the door and someone entered our room anyways.. room 214 has bed bugs too btw. My sons back is torn up and I even took a pic of the bugs I wouldn’t advise staying here.. cheaper definitely isn’t better... house keeping comes to the room smoking to service you ..

Terrible 

Room was filthy....only when the lights were out and we were in bed watching tv did we see the roaches running up the walls toward the warm tv.   UGH.    We thought at first it would be ok for one night, but we ended up packing up and leaving - and they wouldn't even refund our whole amount.

This place is a dump.   Roaches climbing up the walls, filthy bathroom - it should be condemned.

The Board of Health should shut this motel down. We had to evacuate for Hurricane Irma with 2 other couples. The room they gave us was roach infested, filthy and reeked of smoke even though we requested non-smoking. They showed another room.. still had roaches both dead and alive. We demanded our money back which they did do. I would rather sleep in my car than stay there. Fortunately we were able to find another hotel nearby.

Worse than Disgusting.

We got stuck here on a Sunday night, at the truck stop (2 blown out tires).  We had my daughter's dog and cats so needed a place close by we could drive to on the rims...AAA was NO help.  So, we slowly drove up the hill across from Love's.  The person I called on the phone first slowly came to the front desk as I came in.  I filled out paperwork old school, paid with a credit card, and we were able to get into a room.  No smiles, no personality, but we got the key.  The fan in the bathroom was so loud!  However the room was clean, and suited our needs for the night.  We had to wait for the tire person to come and help us, and the key card for the room was disabled at 10:10 a.m. rather than 11:00 a.m.  When I walked over to ask for it to be activated until check out at 11, the same person was a bit gruff, and explained it was 10:10 a few times...I mentioned that check out was 11 and we would of course be out by then - we were just awaiting the arrival of the new tires (as she could see from her window in the office).  Our card was activated.  There was coffee in the office, along with stale cheerios and some milk in a fridge for a quick breakfast.  There are longer term "guests" here, and an ambulance came to pick a "guest" up while we were waiting for tire service.
