The hotel was clean. The  beds and pillows were comfortable .  The breakfast was good with all the normal stuff, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, hash browns. They also had waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea and breakfast bars. Price was reasonable. Overall a good place to stay.

Very good stay

Room was fine, your basic hotel room with basic amenities like a fridge and iron and area to hang clothes. Had a nice sized shower and bed was comfy and AC was cool. Breakfast was also pretty standard fare but much appreciated. Thrifty price too!

Where this hotel shined for me was the staff. They helped me out of a hard situation flying in with weather making me divert to the very nice hondo regional airport. Having no Uber or taxis available was pretty much stuck and they actually sent an employee to pick me up and another took me back the following morning. Very friendly people and much appreciated stay. 



Great staff!

Nice inside and out. Cool and very clean.  Restaurants in the vicinity.  Close to the freeway safe location. Breakfast is provided and comfy bed. It looks  well kept. Toiletries provided and warm shower too.  Snacks for sale. I will be back when passing through Hondo, Tx. Thanks for keeping up the hotel! It makes people want to come back. 
 

April get away 2022.

Staff was very polite and so was housekeeping. They are very glad to answer questions and assist in anyway possible to accomodate all guest. I will put this place as a preferred place to stay in Hondy TX.  Keep up the great work.

Convient stay, superb staff, and housekeeping

Really enjoy staying at the Hondo Best Western when I need to be in town.  Comfortable beds, and the view of the field is my favorite at any time of year.  It feels peaceful.  The staff are friendly and accomodating.

Comfortable Local Hotel

Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.  I registered directly with the hotel the night before arriving and the room rate was exactly what was quoted.  I felt the rate was fair and worth the stay.   One negative I would have was the stairwell to the back parking lot was very dirty and wasn't cleaned the 3 days we were here.  The housekeeping staff for our room were attentive and replaced a coffee maker very promptly when I reported it not working.  Overall I liked the location and the friendly staff.

3 night stay

The young man who checked us in was very friendly and efficient.  The hotel was quiet, beds were comfortable.
The room was clean overall except for dusty furniture.
Breakfast food was good but there was very little of it.  No juice and they ran out of plates and milk.
All staff were friendly.

One night, for a family party

The room, amenities, and location were great! We did have one hiccup when the 2-night reservation I made was, according to their books, for only 1 night. I was too tired when we arrived to confirm this at the time we checked in. But it was also not mentioned.

I saw a clean, nicely decorated lobby and breakfast area. No signs, to me, of any need for repairs. My family stayed there 4 nights ago.

Very nice place to stay

The hotel could use some updates but it is the best place to stay in Hondo by leaps and bounds. The room was not as impeccably furnished/clean as I prefer but given the other options in Hondo, it was acceptable.
The upholstered chair was ripped open on the seat and it was covered in a stain of some unknown substance. I didn't need to sit in it so I avoided it. Other than that, the bed was comfortable but not like home.
The sweet lady at the front desk, Petra, was outstanding. She was friendly, bright and enjoyable to speak to. She was extremely polite and considerate and seemed to genuinely care about the guests, which I appreciated most of all.

It's the best Hondo has to offer

We enjoy staying at this hotel in Hondo but this stay was not the best. The clerk when we checked in was an awesome young man. He was extremely helpful. I cannot say the same for the lady at 7:30am who was the clerk during the breakfast.
