We attempted to stay at this location early in the day but never received a response.  All booking sites showed availablities.  We traveled on to the location only to find an office over grown with weeds and appeared to be closed for quite some time.

Last minute

The place is pretty run down. The picnic table is falling apart, the wood on the porch was rotten, the inside had a very old feel, and we paid $150 a night. There were old sheets on the bed that did not stay on, the bed was so old that the middle caved in, and my husband and I literally were sleeping on top of each other. There was hair everywhere. The only plus was it had direct access to the lake. I’m an avid traveler, and I’m fine with small or older places, but I’m not okay with poorly maintained places for this cost.

Rough at best

We stayed here 2 years ago and we didn't think twice about staying in the same place. I love the cleanliness of the whole place, especially the pool. And inside the cabins are WHITE. The traffic isn't bad so the kids can be free.

Refreshing

We had a confirmed booking for memorial weekend and the week of our stay received an email that a mistake had been made with their booking calendar and we no longer had a reservation. Before writing this review I read all the posted reviews and there were a few management responses that they are always available by phone. I both called and left a message and emailed asking for a return call that never came. I understand that mistakes will be made but my complaint is that they would not call me to discuss.  My only reason for posting is to make others aware of my experience of cancellation at the last minute with no help or recourse. Thankfully we were able to obtain alternative housing.

Poor Customer Response

Advertised as a condo....it is a fishing cabin at best.  Advertised as having a fully stocked bathroom...linens and hand soap is NOT A FULLY STOCKED BATHROOM! The mattress in the downstairs bedroom was awful. No possible way to sleep comfortably on it. The fact that management can charge the price they charge and sleep at night is sad.
