For an in town budget motel I don't think you could do better.  Room was clean.  Bedding and towels were on the new side and bright white with no stains.  Bathroom fixtures were recent and spotlessly clean.  Bed was comfortable and lighting was very good.  Price was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful.  Area wasn't the best but, that's true of most of Houston.  Great price for a comfortable night's sleep.

Good solid choice for a clean room at a great price.

I knew this was going to be a unique experience after seeing the reception counter was a fortified security glass with bank tellers document slide. Yes, it got better with a car alarm going off at night, followed by several freight trains through the night only yards away thinking tooting would be warmly appreciated by the locals. The drinks machine outside was empty of water which made the stay more pleasurable. The bed groaned more than the hookers that frequented this place. No breakfast on site or cafes nearby, a crappy coffee machine looked like it lost the will to live so I left it in peace. Unless I am looking for a set to film a horror movie, I will not be back. Carrying firearm highly recommended for adults and children alike. 

Train horn enthusiasts delight

I woke up at 12:40am on 11/11/16 itching. I got up and seen two bed bugs in the sheets and huge bites on my left extremity and back. I told the attendant about it who said "I cannot give you a refund, all I can do is change your room." I was livid. He did not even go to the room to inspect it or pretend like he cared about the situation. I even showed him the swollen bites on my arm. He simply looked at me and said nothing. He gave me another room key and that was the end of the conversation. Didn't even utter a word of sympathy or offer an apology, his only words were "Well, I cannot give you a refund. The man in the room before you did not mention anything." He also went on to say "There is a machine we can put in the room to get rid of them" which brought to light the fact that this is obviously a reoccurring problem. He did not offer to file an incident report of any kind. I ended up sleeping in my rental car from 1:00am-6:00am and throwing away all of the clothes I came with, even my suit. $300 worth of clothes and personal belongings gone on this trip. Horrendous and literally traumatizing experience.
