My wife and I sold our home in May of 2023 to prepare for retirement and travel. We have been extremely pleased with East Lake RV Resort and their professional staff. Applause to the Managers Jan and Keith and all the staff here for their caring and their attention on ensuring the Resort is kept clean and safe for their guests.

The Resort has a secluded feel due to mostly being surrounded by trees and the landscape with the extremely large pond as the center of attention, but without sacrificing the conveniences of the nearby shopping centers with large grocery stores and many restaurants.

The Resort is very diverse and with nice balance of young families and both young and older couples. I have to say We’ve made more friends here than in our home of 14 years. It’s has truly been a great experience and we couldn’t be happier.

Pet friendly with nice walking trails around the resort or great for your personal golf cart if you choose.

Whether you’re looking for a short- or long-term stay I highly recommend East Lake RV Resort.

Great Resort, Great Managers & Staff. Great Place to Stay.

First off we have traveled all across the United States in our RV and have never been to a RV park that offers no weekly rate.  We stayed the month and then wanted to go weekly because my husbands job was ending.   We were told there was no weekly rate.  Just monthly (890.00) or nightly (88.00).  This is absolutely ridiculous.   

NO WEEKLY RATES

We were greated by Leslie who waited for us after 5 pm and had cold waters and a treat for our dog ready.  She helped us to get to our site too.  Place is really nice and convenient for a pass thru overnight stay, which we did, a little noisy when you are outside but expected since you are right next to I-10 East. The only detail that we would recommend them to do is to veryfy when a spot has been ocuppied that it has been left clean; ours had several big dried dog poops in the grassy area next to our space.

Excellent service, convenient location

This campground was very nice. We had a drive through site. Sites were well taken care of. Lake was nice and we enjoyed sitting at clubhouse by the lake. We also enjoyed the swimming pool. They had a nice dog park with a dog cleaning station also

Great Place to Stay

Eastlake trailer park ( it's not a resort) isn't a bad place to stay if you don't mind paying close to a thousand dollars a month for a 20'x40' slab of concrete to park your trailer on, and you can look past the thefts that take place fairly often.
But, they reward their long term, on time rent paying "guests" with annual rent increases while they allow the property to degrade into exactly what you'd expect a third rate trailer park to be.
Of course my favorite was being thrown out of the park when asking why my rent keeps increasing when they allow people to live in cargo trailers, throw multiple bags of trash outside, leave cars sitting around on flat tires that appear to be abandoned, not tending to the grass, stop heating the pool, not fixing the gym equipment, or fire pits, allowing the same people to drive through the place at excessive speeds unencumbered while so many kids are here. Not to mention a young man being threatened with physical harm by a convicted felon in the "clubhouse" while in the company of his wife and young child. 

Yes, these questions were asked of Steven Yates. The man in charge of Quality RV Resorts in Texas. His reply was delivered to me via of his underling Marty Halverson and his answer was "you're not happy here, you have to move".

So, after being a "guest" of Eastlake for two and a half years and paying them approximately twenty five thousand dollars I've moved into a sure enough RV resort at I-45 and Beltway 8.

Find Somewhere Else

It’s so nice here. Everyone is very respectful of one another. Very quiet, clean, well maintained. The property is just as pictured. Rules are displayed and everyone complies. It’s time to pay my next month payment and I’ll happily hand it over.

Love it! Love it! Love it!

I stayed here for a couple days for work but I wish I could have stayed longer. This park seems to run like a well oiled machine. All concrete leveled pads, Every hookup you need, and all the amenities you could need. The staff was friendly and helpful, Oh and its a gated community! if I'm ever in the area again I will most definitely stay here again!

Top Notch RV Resort!

With the recent devastation to most parts of Houston by Hurricane Harvey, I have to say that we were safe at this park, Even though there's a lake in the middle of the park, I never felt like I was  in danger of flooding..  I'm so grateful that the civil engineers did their homework, when designing this park!.

A paradise in the storm.

This is what an RV Park should be except for lack of shade trees.  As mentioned in earlier review there will be shade in a few years to come, but they are small now.  This is a very large RV Park and the only negative for us is not a lot of room between sites and lack of  privacy by bushes of larger trees between sites.  There is a large dog walk area which our dog loved.  A dog wash, air hose, laundry, activity center with pool table and computer room were available for guests.  The laundry was a little odd in that a card must be purchased for $1 and then money was added by vending machine to add value to the card.  Card was then inserted into the washer and dryer.  It was strange and awkward to use at first but once I got used to it was not so bad.  The thing we liked the most was the fact the sites were very clean and extremely level.  The lake provides a nice view especially if you have a site looking at the lake.  Rocking chairs on the porch provided a lovely place to sit and relax in the evening watching the sun go down over the lake.

Clean and Level Sites, Well Run RV Park

Eastlake is a nice RV park with wide, easily navigable, concrete streets and concrete sites, complete with picnic table. Sites include full hook-ups, cable tv, and wi-fi. Trees have been planted which will eventually offer shade, but at their current height, they do not obstruct satellite reception. Centered within the park is a fishing pond (catch and release) surrounded by grass. Laundry facilities, restroom/showers, an outdoor kitchen, and a very nice heated pool complete the office complex. Very friendly and hospitable office staff greet you upon check-in and are available to help in any way needed. Additional amenities at the park include two other outdoor kitchens strategically placed around the lake, golf cart rentals, a dog wash, and best of all…an air station with enough pressure to fill the tires of our 45’ motorcoach.
