This is my hometown but we recently moved out of state. Was coming back to see my adult children as a two-part trip that would have had my husband and I spending a total of 3 nights here. The room wasn't cleaned well, as we found half a benadryl in the windowsill from previous guests. A giant hole where a mini-fridge once stood, exists. I have a half used shampoo bottle from a previous guest that was leftover for our continued use. The final straw was when my adult child and his wife came to us for a brief visit because my husband forgot his prescription glasses in their vehicle earlier in the day and needed them. The attendant chased my husband and adult child up the stairs, yelling at them stating visitors aren't allowed. He then called to the room to reiterate to me that visitors aren't welcomed here. That's fine because obviously we aren't either. Kinda surprised that when we checked in, a prostitute and her pimp were also checking in and appear to be the preferred guests around here but I digress. I've since canceled our last day booked here later this week and chose a different hotel to meet our needs. Never again will we book here or another America's Best location if this is the kind of behaviors exhibited by the staff here.

would love this place! reasonable price get all facilities like 5 star hotel does! everything close by like mall grocery store sams Costco Walmart mostly everything OMG specially those taco truck  love love this place !

It was a roach on the AC vent soon as I walked in the room , on top of that the people are Rude and i advise everybody to go the Scottish inn right next to it , there both horrible but if I’m in the area and looking for some cheap I’ll pick the Scottish inn

Horrible

This was the most pleasant short stop trip ever. Mr Kenyon was so helpful, providing amazing tips and advice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread was amazing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. All of the staff, including the shuttle drivers, were so amazing!  

Easy, clean, and lovely staff

DO NOT COME HERE, NO PRIVACY AT ALL, they watch your every move you are not even allowed too have guest they will know if you invited somebody cause they always watching and they have housekeeping coming in everyday banging on the door hard just too see what's going on in the room and they report back too them, and they say they HAVE too come in even though you paid for the room. I use too come here just too get away but not anymore they have flying roaches and different types of bugs in the room it's very uncomfortable especially knowing someone is always watching you ! Will not be going back too this place ever again the one beside it is way better and have way more room and the appliances is way nicer wish I was going too that one instead of this one wasted so much money here just too get treated as if I wasn't a paying customer just a lesson learned wouldn't recommend this place too ANYONE !

Hated it 

Just needing a place to sleep for an early flight out of IAH, this ABVI went far beyond my expectations. The room was larger than expected, with even a couch and built-in desk & chair, besides king-size bed. Bathroom area also had plenty of size for 2 people. The bed and chairs were comfortable, and everything appeared clean (hard surface floors, except for low-pile  rug around the bed). Several features led me to think this would be a good place if needing to spend a week: Nice-sized closet and other storage space; in-room microwave and coffee maker; larger than normal fridge (i.e. not "dorm room cube"); full size ironing board and plug-in iron; in-wall hair dryer.
The service was friendly and efficient. I like the convenience of being able to drive up to just in front of your room. The place was quieter than might be expected, due to setting behind a few shops directly on FM1960. As a result, the parking area is practically enclosed, leading to increased safety. My only (mild) complaint is that the continental breakfast was OK, but probably not what you would want for more than a day. All in all, though, this ABVI is really a great value.

Could easily stay a week

We stayed here one night- airport shuttle anytime- looked liked recently remodeled..  very clean with bath and shower, microwave and refer.. Room 115 on corner very quiet area...   I think they had a washer and dryer as another person staying there said so..   Breakfast of coffee, juice, banana and cereal...  on a budget I recommend this hotel!

Excellent value - clean tastefully decorated hotel

This place was amazing room was clean and very nice. Close to the airport and  had free shuttle to take my family to the airport we will be back for sure they also had breakfast out early for us and the associates that worked at this location are very nice

Great service

I'm not hard to please. This hotel was fine with me and my husband. Not dirty, not noisy and not too fancy which I like but not without a few issues. 
The location is a bit weird. You have to drive behind a little strip mall to get to the hotel. It's really close to the airport but we never heard any plane noise. 
Check in was smooth. I was prepaid through hotels.com. I walk into the lobby was asked for ID then was given a room key and rolled out. I didn't see an elevator I don't think they have one. 
The room smelled a little like Marijuana when we walked in. I checked in all the draws to make sure it wasn't left from the last people to stay in there and didn't see any. I sprayed some frebreeze around and turned on the ac and it went away. The closet had no hangers?!? The room does have a small fridge and a little microwave. The couch is comfortable. So many people that came for the superbowl got rooms with bugs and dirty sheets and we were lucky enough to find this place and had a good stay.

Good option near to the airport. It is new and very clean.

Very good option for staying 1 night near to the airport.

I just missed a shuttle to make it more worth. I had to stay over the night so renting a car was not a good option.
