New owners six months ago. Newly renovated rooms. Excellent placement of outlets. Outlets include flash drive ports. Fresh exterior paint. Adding nice landscaping. Very nice staff. Includes breakfast. Very clean. Lovely lobby atmosphere.

We have stayed here a couple of times and have had good experiences. No hotel in this price range should be as good as this one.  You expect for the price that it will be cheap and trashy, but it is actually very comfortable and quiet.  From the moment you walk in until you check out it is apparent that the owner cares about this property.  The parking lot is clean and free of clutter and debris with plenty of room to maneuver larger vehicles. The lobby is decorated uniquely with medieval armor and a comfortable sitting/waiting area. There is a continental breakfast nook, although we have not made use of it. The property is under surveillance and the monitoring setup is of good quality and easily observed at the main desk. We have had no issues with safety or sketchy folk. Key cards actually work and we never had to make a trip up front to have a cranky card rekeyed. The rooms we have stayed in were both equipped with king sized memory foam type mattresses which were very comfortable.  We were actually able to sleep well, and we are bed snobs who usually cannot sleep well in any bed that is not our own.  There was a table and chairs by the door and ample plugs available for connecting chargers or other items which may need to be powered.  Flat screen tv with excellent selection of channels. Mini fridge and microwaves in each room. All powered items and lights worked. A/C did not work in one of the rooms but heat did. Owner was responsive to issue. Shower is hot with good water pressure.  Towels are kind of scratchy but they get the job done.  Smoking and non-smoking rooms available. Free WiFi access available and works satisfactorily. There is a drink machine with coke products available and they are inexpensive ($0.75 per can). Ice machine worked and had plenty of ice. No snack machine. If you want late night food, some places won’t deliver to that area, and the nearest early morning (I.e. after midnight) places to eat are the McDonalds drive-thru or Waffle House. Located conveniently close to Shagnasty’s Grubbery and Pour House which has better food than a bar has any right to lay claim to (they have a talented cook who makes a phenomenal Philly, excellent burger, and perfectly cooked steaks). Check out is at 11 and you don’t have staff pounding on your door at 8 trying to clean your room or anything. You shouldn’t expect luxury for a hotel that costs less than $60 a night, but it is amazing that this place is as comfortable and nice as it is for the price.  I’ve stayed in far worse places for twice the cost.  If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to crash for the night or a weekend without worry, this place is it.

Inexpensive getaway

The hotel is Very clean, fairly priced and the management has excellent customer service.The property is very secure and is located close to many major attractions and stores in Huntsville, I enjoyed my stay here.

Awesome hotel

Nice clean rooms on the main road to everywhere only reason I didn't give 5 is because you cant have visitors and if I'm from out of town may I dont want so have ti GPS everything I want to have someone meet me

A good place to stay

We needed an inexpensive place to stay near a concert venue in Huntsville. This place was both convenient and inexpensive. It seemed to be clean. There was no hair dryer or coffee maker, but it did have a small fridge and a microwave, and these both worked fine. The room had a very, very strong odor of some type of unusual deodorizing spray that did not dissipate during our stay. I awoke the following morning with a series of bites that seemed to be similar to bedbug bites. 

OK for short, cheap overnight

Trying to save a little money on our road trip we ended up in this motel and regretted it. The area was beyond sketchy, the lobby was closed and the owner was protected by a window. We got the last room available, a smoking room. People outside and/or at motel next door were smoking weed and the smell entered through the door cracks. It was noisy. The room itself was ok, beds not very comfy. Next time I'd definitely invest 30-40$ more for a decent room just a few minutes up the road.

Sketchy area, not recommended with family

The owner must be bi polar....we were put out for no reason and called the police on us....the officer said that they call all the time....what they do is have you book online so when they get their money then they kick you out to put other people in....plus it’s right beside some of the nastiest motel/hotels I have ever seen....I highly suggest looking else where for a place to stay....never have I ever been treated like this by any place I have stayed....I rate this place with no stars.

Don’t every stay here

This is in a horrible part of town. Two drug busts were going on at the motel next door. The man checking in behind us was asking about arrangements for getting his hired woman into & out of his room. We didn't want to stay here, but we'd made non-refundable reservations. The last straw was when we entered the room and found it was infested with fleas! My husband asked the owner at the front desk about getting a refund, and she thankfully refunded our money so we could go elsewhere. I think she knew about the fleas. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
