I rarely write a terrible review, but this "resort" is a joke. This is my third time here and you'd think I would learn my lesson.  I come for the golf, and stay at the resort because it is convenient. But physical proximity is not necessarily as convenient as it should be. Every unit is owned by a different owner, but managed by the resort staff. Thus every unit is different. My unit today does not have a clock, and the air conditioning is so weak that guests are prohibited from cooling their room any cooler than 72 degrees, lest the condenser freezes up. I am sweating profusely as I write this. This resort seems to appeal to families into off-road dune buggy rides. The swimming pool is full of screaming kids. Last time I was here, the TV did not work and the maintenance guy could not fix it because the owner had set it up in some unorthodox manner. The staff seems professional enough and they want to be helpful, but the whole concept is a failure.

This is a resort for suckers

One of the most beautiful places I’ve vacationed at and l look forward to returning someday. It was a great home base for flying in from Vegas and driving into Utah, and it’s less than two hours from Zion National Park. The amenities availability is good in the villa, just make sure you bring your own bottled water.

Great Experience!

Unless you golf, there is no advantage to staying at Sand Hollow. The rooms are outdated and located far (1/4 mile) from the restaurant and check in with no transportation. 

Outdated and unfriendly staff.

Travelled from the UK to play golf in Utah/Nevada. Spent 3 nights at Sand Hollow, staying in their superb accommodation, a really well appointed and clean 2 bedroom suite in 'building 5'. The golf course is in a great condition. The championship course was very well managed, at no point did we incur slow play etc... the course marshals and starter were exceptionally friendly, no request seemed to be too much. All the staff we met at Sand Hollow were helpful and friendly, thanks for a great stay.

Sand Hollow Golf Trip

If you’re a golfer this beautifully decorated 2 bed/2 bath suite is the perfect place to stay.  Ideal for 2 couples, it will also comfortably sleep a family of 6/8

Excellent accommodation located in a golfers paradise

Lovely golf resort near state campground. We were there with family who were camping and using their ATVs. The golf resort is a lovely property with rooms, apartments, and homes to stay in. The clubhouse has spectacular views of the Utah scenery and excellent food. Would recommend for golfers and also for those who want to participate in a ATV activities, or just to get away for a few days!

Lovely Golf Resort

Found information in a Golfweek publication on Best Resort Courses.  It was ranked #37.  Watched some YouTube videos and the course looked very interesting.  In reality, it was, though I expected the fairways to be plush and they weren't.  Greens were good, huge and fast.  The back nine layout is incredible!  We also stayed at the resort and the room we got was a great value.  They had a large selection of lodging, and we stayed in a One Bedroom Queen Suite which was very nice with a separate living room and a full kitchen.  The price was very reasonable, so the value was excellent.  Ate twice at the restaurant and the food was good but service was kind of slow.  Other excellent golf courses in the area and within reasonable driving distance to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks.  We went in mid-October and the weather was perfect our entire stay!

Nice vacation!

Booked a 2 bedroom condo that was very clean fully stocked. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Did not play golf, but it looked a beautiful course. Our group dined at the restaurant several times and the food was good. 
 

Great place!

Booked a golf view in a two bedroom condo. Guy at front desk was nice & put us in one. Turns out when we got in unit, we had to moved bc owner was there for the night.  Ackward to say the least. Front desk guy tried & was nice. U could tell he was sorry for his mistake.   Gal on the phone was okay. Didn’t offer anything. Didn’t really say much when we called to let her know we thought housekeeping had not been to the room. Hence it was a mistake we were in the room in the first place. Got moved to a Mountain View room so I’m not sure if It’s Expedia’s fault or how that works but we made sure to get a golf view but ended up in a lesser room facing the other way. Furniture was warped etc Condo was very basic. Only two blankets. It was my sons 23 bd & we have stayed prior with a good experience. There was some chatter about a ten percent discount but I have not seen my final bill yet to see what it says.  The gentleman who made the mistake was very sorry so we did feel bad & hope he didn’t get in too much trouble. Mistakes happen. I’m more so irritated about the view & the other staff that was not so friendly or accommodating.

Unbelievable golf course. The views are amazing. The course was in great shape. Greens were running fast and fairways perfect. Friendly staff and ample pro shop to grab a few shirts and souvenirs.

Bring out the camera, especially on the back 9.
