Clean, modern, quiet, user friendly, great service, decent breakfast, adequate internet, sunny, close to town, and a manager who is a little snippy but willing to work with clients on room rates and check out. Convenient to the drive in theatre.

Satisfaction

We drove extra miles because of the good reviews. The room was clean at first glance.  the bathroom smelled like urine, the bathroom floor was dirty. the shower curtain was dirty. the mirror looked to be washed with a wet dirty rag. the floor was vacumed down the center lots of dirt in edges and dark places like the safe area. at night rather large brown bugs came out, cockroaches?  and when i told the morning clerk he just smiled at me like it was funny. the breakfast was dangerously cold. The person who checked us in was very nice. i realize hotels have a lot of traffic, but we have stayed in cleaner rooms for the same price

Not worth the good reviews

Front desk guy is overworked and probably underpaid.....give this guy some help AND more money......room was neat and clean.....give housekeepers more help AND more money.....hot tub was not working, bummer......but wasn't going to use it anyway......kids running up and down 2nd floor hallway being kids......but also heard them laughing,  so it was all good......but the "hot pockets" in the hotel snack room SUCKED!!!!!! ..... not the hotel's fault, I just make poor food choices.....

I'd do it again

Was in Newton for the Jarhead Jamboree!!!! The room was clean. The Hotel staff was great… friendly and welcoming!!! If I am ever back in Newton I will definitely be staying here!!!! Very convenient to downtown Newton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a Hotel should be

I've stayed here many times and each time it gets better.  I really enjoyed the lunch truck that comes by.  It used to be called the Wurst Weiner and now it's called Curved Cravings.  It was the best and I'm from Chicago!  

Enjoyed the new ice cream place in Newton called Hometown.

Enjoyed the slots in the hotel, they liked me a lot this time.

One added place to go is the new Casino in Terre Haute.  It's only an hour from the hotel.  It was a nice ride and so much fun.

The room and the hotel is spotless.  You can tell the whole management team takes great pride in their hotel.  

I missed the pool this time but will hit it the next time.

This is the best place to stay and lots to enjoy.

Wonderful place to stay...

Excellent accommodations. Awesome staff. I come here every year for deer hunting. The place is clean. Mark and his staff are very accommodating. I checked out a day early and was refunded without any hassle. I always enjoy staying here.

Never disappoints

This is a nice, clean and quiet hotel.  Shower in the room was great, and the beds were comfortable.  The room was starting to show signs of needing a fresh coat of paint, but that didn't really matter.  Overall, it was a very nice stay.  

Nice, clean and quiet hotel

Room and public areas are clean and fresh. Everyone in hotel is very courteous above and beyond. Although I didn’t take advantage of the pool or bar areas, I have enjoyed the pool on previous stay.  Definitely recommend 

Great Stay

Was in town with family for a funeral and management was flexible with our request for an early check-in.  The room was clean and met all of our needs for a short stay.  Breakfast is nothing fancy, but sufficient.  This hotel does not have an elevator (only two floors), so be prepared to use the stairs if on the second floor.  Overall it's a good place to stay when in town.

Overall good experience

I've stayed here many times over the years and it is such a nice facility.  Clean, comfortable, quiet and Marc the manager is super friendly and attentive.  Always nice to chat with him.  The rooms are nicer than at many of the big city chains.   Would 100% recommend staying here.
