We wanted to bring a boat down and go on the lake so we decided to stay somewhere instead of bringing our camper. I was pleased with Brookville Lodge. Nice place to stay. You can use the kitchen if you want. We didn't since we found the Korners Kountry Kitchen. We already knew we wanted to eat at Ainsleys at the lake. The beds were comfortable. House was clean. Beautiful woodwork. 

Nice place

Located in downtown Brookville, this lodge was very charming. Our room had a comfortable bed, their kitchen had my favorite coffee brand. In the evening it was neat to sit on the porch and watch the traffic on Main St. Price is reasonable.

Comfy, nice place

This place was simply the best. We cannot wait to return. The bed was so comfortable. The place was so clean. The water pressure was great! We loved the lodge, the town and the lake. We will definitely be back!

Nicely remodeled older  lodging featuring character furnishings mixed with newer pieces.  The bed was quite comfortable & the individual bath spotless & up to date, including plenty of hot water.  It is not a B & B but there is a kitchen that is available to the guests.  It has coffee & coffee pot, silverware, dishes, & other cooking items along with a microwave, stove, dishwasher, & refrigerator.  There was also a living room with a gas fireplace, TV, & comfortable sofa & a dining room if you do not want to eat in the kitchen.  I had a very relaxing & enjoyable time & would highly recommend it.

Quaint, Unique Lodging

This is a very nice older home that has been renovated into a beautiful Lodge complete with creaky floor boards (adds character I think). Natasha was quick with all responses to inquiries and extremely accommodating to last minute changes in our plans. We came and went three times in just over two weeks and enjoyed each of the three stays. There is a fully-stocked kitchen (appliances and service ware) to prepare meals or snacks. A nice, comfortable living room to sit and read or watch TV or check e-mails with the free wi-fi. If you are planning a family gathering this would be a great place to hold it as you can rent the whole house - the kitchen is large, there is a large dining room table and plenty of seating in the living room. They offer brochures (in the bookcase in the dining room) for all the attractions in the area as well as places to visit on the main street in Brookville. The Lodge is located in about the middle of the businesses on Routes 1 and 52 that runs through town. It is nice to be able to walk up and down this street window shopping or stopping into to one of the many nice businesses and restaurants that line Brookville's main thoroughfare.

Great place to stay and wonderful owners!

I never actually had the opportunity to meet the owner because we arrived late and left the next morning.  I definitely could have stayed longer.  The house was beautifully restored.  We had a large comfortable bed in our room with a TV.  If we had wanted to we could have made tea in the kitchen downstairs.  The kitchen is well equipped for cooking with a stove, refrigerator, and microwave.  The bathroom was really nice, great shower, hand crafted soaps, and wonderful towels.  You can adjust the heating in your room.  There was no one else in the place when we were there so it was very quiet.  We'd definitely go there again.

Beautiful place with nice touches

We had a wonderful stay at the Brookville Lodge.  We arrived late and Natasha made sure that we would be able to check in without problem.  The house is lovely. The remodeling is very tasteful. Our room was beautiful.  It was clean, had a great bathroom, and wonderful linens and towels.  There was a list of restaurants in the area which was a big help.  We walked down the street and enjoyed Pizza Pete's....yummy.  We were the only ones in the house.  Guests have the use of a full kitchen should they want to cook or need ice.  Just a great place to stay.
