I first stayed here about three years ago... during the middle of renovations.  Since I was back in the neighborhood, I thought I'd stay here again.  I'm glad I did!  I've stayed in much more expensive hotels that were not this nice.

The room was spotless. Everything worked.  Breakfast was very good for a budget hotel. The people were so friendly.  And it's just far enough from I-65 that you don't hear it all night long.

Great place and I'll be back.

Second time was even better than the first

In town for business.   Friendly staff.  Very clean premises.  Comfortable bed.   
All kinds of shopping and food within walking distance.    Close to downtown and the highway.   

It is unfortunate that ai have to add this last sentence just to reach the minimum for a review.

Good overnight stay

I had low expectations, but I was very pleasantly surprised.  David Patel has cracked the code of providing a clean, attentive, affordable stay.  Fairly recently redecorated, and sparkling clean, even in the corners.  Nice breakfast, and polite, attentive staff.  Very quiet.  Better stay than I have experienced at much more expensive hotels.  This is my new go-to in Columbus.

Extraordinary experience at an inexpensive motel.

We were not expecting much for the price we paid but were pleasantly surprised by the overall look and cleanliness of the hotel.  And the breakfast was great!  Much better than some of the 4-5 star hotels we have stayed with!

Great Hotel Great Price!

The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. I had a reservation so check in went smoothly. My room, while nothing fancy, was very clean, with a comfortable bed and good pillows. All the stated amenities were in place, such as the microwave, in room coffee and small refrigerator. The hotel did not have a luggage cart that I saw. My air conditioner worked quite well, and the staff was friendly. The television had a sufficient number of channels and a good picture. Breakfast was standard, i dont eat it but some of the other guests said it was good. All in all a pleasant stay.

The remodel is complete, and the rooms are GREAT. Another very good stay at a clean and comfortable property! 

Great place to stay.

We stayed at this Super 8 by chance, did not previously schedule to be at this location.  After getting in our room we could not find a speck of dust, a smudge mark anywhere.  The large tiles in the shower looked as though we were the 1st people to use the room since the remodel but found it had been over a year since the remodel.  Staff was Super Friendly making this the best stay on a five week journey!


Cleanest Super 8

First: The hotel has so many good reviews because the (very friendly) owner asks for them, but it also lives up to its reviews. Second: It’s within a block of a lovely little bike trail into Columbus that goes through a park by a river (saw a pileated woodpecker there!) and past an observation tower that you can climb to get a wider view. The owner was fine with my leaving the car in the parking lot for a few hours after checkout so that I could check out the bike trail.

Bike Friendly Spot

Room was recently remoeled and well appointed. It fitted our needs very well for an overnight stay. My wife was very satisfied with the cleaness of the room. She has Back problems and the bed provided her with a good nights sleep. The beakfast was very clean and well attened to. The free breakfast was the usual dry cereal, make your own waffals, etc., that suited our morning meal needs. There are many resturants in the area. We will be returning to the Columbus Super 8 when we are in the area. Old Geezer and his wife RECOMMENDED.

Very Good Overnight Stay

Owners were kind and worked with us regarding a scheduling issue we had. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, price was fair, and breakfast was good.  VERY close to shopping/food.  We would stay again next time we are in the area.

Very accommodating

Newly remodeled. Super clean. Value priced. Highly recommend. Stopped on our way to Nashville TN. Was pleasantly surprised by cleanliness and decor of all areas. Very competitive pricing for the value. Breakfast area was very clean and nicely stocked.
