We have stayed at the Cornerstone Inn several times over the years.  We went midweek this time and stayed 2 nights in an upper unit of the Cane Ridge building.  The unit has a king bed, antique furnishings, large bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower, microwave, fridge with freezer, fireplace (not needed in July!) and screened porch overlooking the landscaped courtyard with a gazebo.    The Cornerstone no longer serves a breakfast, so a short walk to a restaurant took care of that.  As noted in their listings, the upper units are reached by an interior stairway, no elevator.  The location is nice and quiet but just a couple blocks from the main street.   The TV has a lot of channels, but it uses a streaming service and the internet speed was not sufficient to prevent a lot of annoying buffering.  Staff seems to really care, and they appreciate the heritage of the property.   Covid has closed or modified a few of the restaurants we liked, and things in Nashville empty out pretty fast when the stores are closed.  We can recommend the Hobnob Corner Restaurant near the Cornerstone and the Harvest Dining Room at the Brown County Inn, a short drive.  The Farmhouse Cafe near Bean Blossom is not serving dinners now but the lunches are good.

great getaway for a couple

This is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Nashville, Indiana. We never used our car all weekend. We had a very nice room with a king bed. All the furniture matched and was antique. The rooms are immaculate. Super clean. We stayed in Cane Ridge and parked right by the front door. The place is very well maintained and the owners take pride in the grounds which were beautiful.  There is also a nice little screened in porch with just enough for two to enjoy the view. Shops are all around. Everything is in walking distance. We enjoyed everything, but the mattresses were a bit too soft for our backs. Thanks for a great weekend. 

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

We stayed in Trudie's Cottage and it was perfect for us. Had two nice bed rooms with queen bed and one tiny bedroom with a twin bed. There were two bathrooms and each was attached to each of the larger bedrooms. You had to go through a bedroom to reach a bathroom; only negative. The cottage also had a living room, dining room, screened in porch all were a good size. In the heart of the city, walking distance to everything. Once we parked the car wasn't moved until we left. Have already booked it again in September.

Lovely suite on the top floor, big comfy bed and vaulted ceiling. Bathroom was spotless as was the entire suite. Right in the heart of downtown and walking distance to everything.
Unfortunately for my husband the management recently switched their satellite or cable provider and it is terrible. No network or local stations which meant no football. 
We were disappointed that we had no movie channels and had to use our own streaming service as nothing was free. And for what we paid for one room for 2 nights we were a little disappointed.

Lovely but missing some important things

My mother and I came to Nashville for a little mother-daughter getaway and were so pleased with the Cornerstone Inn! They were friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in, and they even had printed a sign wishing my mom a happy birthday when we arrived! The desk staff gave us lots of recommendations about things to do, see, and eat in the area.

We stayed in the Cane Ridge 2 room and could not believe how large it was.  Huge jacuzzi tub and separate shower, cute screened porch, fireplace, and comfy king size bed.  And the location could not have been more perfect.  We were able to walk around town and come back to rest a bit in the afternoons before venturing back out for dinner.  Also, the grounds are landscaped beautifully.  The whole property is just very pleasant...with easy parking!

I would highly recommend this property for couples, families, groups, anyone. Great spot!

Perfect location, luxurious room in the heart of downtown!

Absolutely beautiful Inn.  I felt as if I were in a hallmark movie.  The Inn is well appointed and is very clean.  The staff are helpful and oh, so nice.  I definitely recommend the Cornerstone and I will definitely return.  Hope to try the cottages next time.

Snowy Weekend

A group of four of us recently stayed at the Lodge, part of the Cornerstone Inn property.  It was fantastic!  A very comfortable house with a large living room, fireplace, vaulted ceiling, large patio, fully furnished kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths.  We had plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable.  The Lodge is right in town, an easy walk to restaurants and shops in Nashville, and a short drive to Brown County State Park.  A great place for friends to get together for a reunion.

We are staying in the lodge— 3/3.   More than big enough for 3 couples.  We had only 2.   It is definitely like a well-appointed home.  Kitchen has everything you need to cook.  Would be nice to have dish cloths and dish towels but there is a dishwasher and paper towels.  So nice to have a parking place on A very busy weekend and then walk to every place in town.  It was very, very quiet.  Lovely balcony as well as a full deck with lots of seating .

Great Home in Brown Coumty

My wife and I stayed here while vacationing in Nashville. This was my first time in Nashville and I was impressed right from the start because of this beautiful hotel. The rooms are really something to behold. We stayed in a room that had a screened in patio, no bugs! The room was very large and very clean. The bathroom had a walk in shower and a jetted soaking tub. Only downside was our room was on the ground floor and the people above us must have been doing jumping jacks all night, they were that loud! Then again you can get that anywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Also, it is in a great location.

Fantastic hotel

I'd rate this place a perfect 10 if I could. We booked #18 in the main house called Benjamin & Rebecca Moore King Suite. The room was huge and had a full 2 person spa tub. Very romantic setting. Let her love seat at foot of the most comfy king sized bed ever. The staff was really polite and helpful. The glycerin soaps were wonderful. I bought a few more to take home. Easy walk to anyplace in Nashville. The room had a really nice kitchenette and the bath had a huge walk in shower. I cannot wait to come back and stay here.
