I noticed there have been no reviews for years and now I see why.  Despite new ownership and changing its name to the Royal Inn it’s a horrible place.  Despite being a non smoking room the room stunk to high heaven.  There were body hairs on one bed.  Not safe in this Covid era.   

It’s better to drive 12 miles down the road to Terre Haute where you have a wide selection of choices.

booked thru Travelocity, arrived to what looked like a ghost town, or a bad neighborhood in a third world country. at 1 pm the door was locked lights off, a little old lady came to the door, she couldn't speak English, didn't have our reservations, tried to get me to fill out a guest card, I asked to see a room, it was dirtier than the lobby. there was dirt in the tub. worst room Ive ever seen. we didn't stay, we went to the forest inn in Rockville  on hwy 41 (great place) when I got home I noticed my card had been bill the total amount for both hotels. google renatto inn   and search images, before booking.  pics of roaches, spiders, rooms in a state of disrepair. VERY BAD

Avoid this place

Smells like hasn't been freshened up in awhile. When asked for an extra towel or pillow said two of each was all you're allowed to have. Smoking rooms, you get a styrofoam cup w/ water? That's not an ashtray. Ice machine doesn't work and it's updated. Go else where!

Stayed long term. They have mice, do not change sheets, and has spiders. Place is rundown, not well taken care of. Heat not working. Slow drains. 
Owners will not forward ANY forgotten items in the room. They require the customer to come back to their motel to pick up forgotten item. 
Had to clean the appliances myself in order to use them. 
I do not recommend this motel..
NO FREE WiFi even though it's advertised. No free breakfast.

Not a good choice

Pass by this place 2x week; always empty; now I know why.   The pictures tell all.  Door needs paint, cracks in wall in bathroom, tub had pubic hairs left + a live cockroach (Indiana in winter?), microwave dirty and another cockroach exited it when I opened the door, cobwebs on ceiling and behind appliances - months old. Hasn't been dusted in ages; bathroom floor filthy behind toilet and in corners.  Carpet obviously needs repair - solution was duct tape.   I was afraid to sleep in the sheets so slept on top of the bed.  Towels are worn and dried outside rather than in a dryer; only enough hot water for a 5 minute shower.  

Sadly, this could be a great place - I would love to buy it - I could turn it around in 2 months.

Save your money

got the room here for the bridge fest  nothing else to be found  what a bad mistake bad isnt the word for this filthy joint  - you get let in to check in but to check out she wont let u in-  there was fecie filled mans underwear near head board a bear bottle that had been there so long dust a inch thick on it- filthy yellowed pillows the box spring had fell apart bugs in the bath room  we had to go to walmart and buy lysol and lysol cleaner, towels and pillows- very scary joint!!!  No breakfast- no coffee pots in room no hair dryers  rusted tissue box cover with no tissue
